Ancient Gears isn't that simple but it is very fun

Yes they are. I got annihilated by one in the triple festival. They r 1 or 2 broken support cards away from being potentially tier 0. If they could only get to their big fusion more easily. With Fortress on the field that Chaos Giant is a ♥♥♥♥♥ to try and wall.

I played the Ancient Gear loaner deck in the last event, because I was sick of creating my own deck for such events where strong loaner decks are given out and like all cards that allow for alternative building are banned. Cant say that it was particularly funny. One wins often enough, even with the suboptimal loaner deck, but fun? Either it works or it doesnt, the interaction is rather poor (Tenpai is similar, although certainly stronger).

I played against this deck a ton during the last event and it definitely can just kill you if you don't stop the right things. Eventually just ended up saving my last Lancea summon for when they summong something with Ancient Gear fusion, usually ripping out the rest of their hand in the process. It ends up changing the monster to defense mode and most ended up scooping to it.
