Is burn deck still viable?

Started playing a few days ago. After some trial and error, I used chain burn and managed to get Plat yesterday. A bit disappointed that I have no more time to try to get to Plat 1 but what's more is that I've never encountered another burn deck player. Is burn deck that bad? Look at the burn achievement, it's 0.1% when I got it and now 0.3%

The mostly-OCG banlist of Master Duel means that Mystic Mine and a bunch of burn enables are banned.

The closest thing to a burn deck that people would be playing is Pendulum FTK.

its inconsistent but when it works, it works and its hilarious. most people nowadays are meta slaves and in a game where gems dry up pretty quick, most people would rather spend on 1 meta deck and staples as opposed to a gimmick deck.

thinking about building nurse reficule/simochi burn myself.

I tried reficule deck first, got to Gold then it started to fall short. That anime girl card keeps interfering my drawings.

You could play Nurse Burn, the deck is funny af and surprisingly good.

Lost to a Chain Burn w/Timelords vs my Endymion, he top decked a ceasefire to finish things when I had 50 hp and he had 400.

Funny how i find this just after i got the idea of maybe trying out a burn deck. Idk if it works to climb ladder but it does sound like fun lol

Risky since its more consistent to have negates and whatnot on field. But it still exists. Its just hard.
And some players are very happy to halve their health bar to use certain traps.

I mean it depends. I run my silly burn deck in gold and it works fine even against the occasional meta play. Most of my losses are due to me not playing properly or dice jar lol. I just love that stupid little guy too much.
