Odds we get alt artwork?

Maybe like "lost art" promos that use the original OCG artwork of certain cards like Monster Reborn or even things like alt artwork Blue Eyes, Dark Magician, Cyber Dragon, etc.

I just hope they don't limit any alt art behind paywalls or one time distributions like they do in Duel Links sometimes.

What about we push the rating to T and get rid of all the censored artwork instead, first? Or would E+ work? Are cards censored physically too, or is this a digital thing? I don't own any cards.

would they even need to bump up the rating? at most the uncensored artwork shows some religious symbols and a little side boob but that is about it. In a game that has actual demons and other worldly deities as monsters it isn't much worse.

A majority of cards in the TCG heavily censored.
Examples being:
Female monsters were given longer skirts, less revealing clothing,
Dark Ruler Ha Des losing his horns.
Halos being removed from angels ]
Religious stuff

Yeah its all so stupid. Really robs the game of its original feel.

I don't remember if it was in 5 D's Decade Duels, Millennium Duels, Legacy of the Duelist/ Links Evolution. But. One of them had a way to switch to the alternate art of the cards. It was a feature I never knew I needed but ending up wanting in every future game I played.

Many cards in the NA/Euro releases are censored, but the thing is a majority of them you wouldn't even know were censored unless you compared them side by side (and even then you may have difficulty). Some of them are obvious, like harpie ladies given colored skintight bodysuits instead of just being nude with a few straps (although there was a harpie girl released internationally that had uncensored art early on, oh the scandal!). Others are just like given slightly longer skirts, slightly smaller tits, slightly darker dresses. Probably the most universally hated change is that guns are changed into brightly colored toys, which kind of just makes cards like barrel dragon or the armed blackwings just look silly. A few cards like monster reborn or dian keto actually do just have completely different art though.

There is a list of censored cards on the yugioh wiki, and the reasoning behind some of them is hilarious. I remember one had an energy beam or something too low on the chest and they were scared it would look like a massive lightsaber dong or something. Others have an inch more added to a dress because the original was *too* skimpy but the censored version is just skimpy enough to pass the konami test. Then I think one of the vampire girls had references to blood stains removed, because god forbid a scantily-dressed vampire girl be associated with blood

My issue is, why not use newer artoworks for the cards? For example Dark Magician girl has a better artwork in Dark Side of DImensions version, they kept the classic

he did not "mod" anything, what he did: he copy-paste the same orinal japanese images and that's it. as I said before, this game has ~ 240 MB uncensored content, it would be ~ 200 cards or even more.

"uncensored content" is not only "cards", it's also animations, special summons, in game images

I was today years old when I found out that Barrel Dragon isn't charging up some special attack and is actually just multi-colored nerf guns. Ignorance really is bliss sometimes.

Yeah sadly it's never gonna happen since they're N/R cards which KONAMI can't make money off of so no point in dropping alt arts for them
