is it possible to make a good yugioh deck that doesnt contain spell cards or magic cards?

I mean, Ghoti could work okish since its only spell is its field spell assuming you're fine with trap cards.

"Good" seems relative but you can play the stuff like Lab, Traptrix and Eldlich without spells mostly fine and of course there all the trap focused strategies like burn. But like, why?

Superheavy samurai is literally built on that premise, unless you consider pendulums to be spell cards. Other than that, you have archetypes like genex that don't have any in-archetype spells at all, even with the new support coming up. Then there are a bunch of combo piles like adamancipator that I believe are not played with any spell cards other than occasional defensive cards like crossout designator

dinomorphia hybrids can do without any spells, but if you want to use them be aware that "random" change of hearts and tttalents can be devestating. Ash blossom is easy to deal with but those snatchers are a serious issue for the archtype.

Superheavy Sam is straight up what's wanted. All monsters, no spell/traps, and all of your monster effects get turned off if you run spell/traps. Only spells they can use are cards like Sekka's Light that banish themselves.

Most Trap-focused archetypes tend to run light on spells as well. So Paleozoics, Labrynth, Dinomorphia, Altergeists, even some builds of Traptrix or Eldlich. There's options.
