Ascension Sky Dragon, Leo the Keeper of the Sacred Tree, Deskbot Jet, D/D/D Gust High King Alexander, Timelord Progenitor Vorpgate, Ruddy Rose Dragon and, Swordsoul Supreme Sovereign - Chengying are going to be the only generic Lvl 10 Synchro Monsters left.

All the rest are very specific in their material requirements. Chaos Angel being the least restrictive since you can sub in a non-tuner as a tuner if it's light or dark.

Pretty sad that anything that used to make Barrone is just going to get funneled into starting the Fiendsmith engine when we get it.

Both are awful for the game. Baronne being "just" an omni negate is arguably worse though, because we have a dozen monster negates yet baronne is the one that can stop the s/t that are meant to beat those boards

Fun fact, in the TCG, Baronne was only released in 3 packs.
In Synchro storm as a UR in 10-28-2021.
In Maze of Memories two years later as a UR and Collectors Rare in 03-09-2023 and then in their 25th Anniversary collection in 11-02-2023 making it the most accessible under 8 different rarities (with the lowest being a rare) only to ban it half a year later after the fact.

Anyways, if Baronne had to go I wouldn't really shed a tear. Konami knows how powerful this card is and it's why they got their money's worth and got rid of it entirely not too soon afterward when they made it far more obtainable.

The fact that it has gone on this long really goes to show how little Konami cares about balance.

But it's alright because Konami in their infinite wisdom will ban Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell or something because 3 people used it in a fun niche deck and one of them happened to beat one of Konami's favorite shill- sorry, "pro players" after they mogged their Nightmare Pain.

Gotta hand it to Konami though, their balance passes are never good but they're also never boring.

Opponent end field has only Baronne on the field, And at end of Main phase i activate Nibiru. Opponent negates Nibiru. Ah okay, so that was your only negate.
And after negate; opponent surrendered.

One of my favorite past times was using VFD specifically to stop swordsoul from summoning Baronne.
