You handle them the same way you handle Time Lords. Don't freaking attack into Yubel monsters if you have no way to shut off their effects 1st and don't let them attack or bad stuff happens.

You can do this through effect negations. Ash Blossom is going to get completely out paced by them because they'll just choose a different combo line or get baited out by "This can't go through" effects or cards. Also, Called by the Grave is pretty decent for turning off a Yubel players turn. Not D.D, Crow, you have to negate the Yubel's effect that you're banishing once it gets popped otherwise it's not worth it.

Other than that there basically is no counter play to their Super Poly plays. It's B.S. and it sucks and frankly, Super Poly is probably getting banned or limited due to Yubel next list. The card has become a field wiper that can't be responded to.

well there is kaiju, there is lava golem, there is literally like 20 something cards that bounce cards rather than destroy that can be splashed into any deck, and I'm personally considering the viability of winter cherries as a whole

Handtraps, super polymerization, tribute, banish, return to hand, return to deck, move to magic and trap zone...

Yubel ends with more than one monster on ther side for Lava golem?

Yes? for whatever reason, people just love playing excessively, the idea of overextending doesn't even register for 90% of the player base. I have yet to see on youtube anyone showing off yubel combos end on a single monster board. Or if they did, they summon more on your turn, still making lava golem live.

Usually, yes, they tend to have more than one Yubel in the field, and they tend to summon A LOT of times during one turn, so even having Nibiru in the deck is a good idea. You can also run super Super Polymerization with your own Yubel - The Loving Defender Forever, or Garura, Wings of Resonant Life, or Starving Venom Fusion Dragon in the extra deck.

Use Ghoti, not only is it a really fun to play archetype with awesome space fish but it works exceedingly well against meta decks like Yubel.

Banishing a meta slave's board only to have a 4k Ghoti on the board, there's not much in Yugioh that's that delightful imo.

Note that competent players will have a plan for this, and meta decks in particular are flexible enough to have that plan. That said, "meta slaves" are usually understood to be idiots who think that simply having a good deck will make up for the idiocy. It will, until they run into a rogue player who actually knows what they're doing. If they run into a meta player who knows what they're doing? Not quite as funny, but it works.

Well it's targetable for all sorts of effects including negates so... there is actually a lot of things You can do here.

Well since they're immortal, stick one on your field and you can't lose the game anymore. Since they search anything, use them to add a couple pots of greed to your hand until you get all the exodia pieces. It seems rather simple honestly, only took me 20 seconds to figure out the win condition there

Probably be the only time I ever ask in this cesspool, but what do you mean and got any pointers for handling those situations?

You should read Nightmare Pain again. I think you're missing some important text on it.
