STILL no Ogdoadic support

I mean come on! Horus and Ogdo are both Egyptian themed archetypes! It's just two cards, and Daybreak makes all the difference in the deck. Duel Links of all things got Daybreak before us. I'm over here having to splash Snake-Eyes to bridge from Ogdo to Evol, which Daybreak would be able to shortcut no issue.

Ogdo getting support? Queue every laughing meme in existence. Ogdo and every other Reptile archetype isn't getting meaningful support until Snake Rain is banned, until then it's basically play off of Raika or play off of Dino

We literally are waiting for Ogdoadic Daybreak and Nephilabyss? And Raika is even further off than getting our support that was skipped over to release other stuff.

We literally are waiting for Ogdoadic Daybreak and Nephilabyss? And Raika is even further off than getting our support that was skipped over to release other stuff.

Since it's 2 cards it's possible they could release it for a Story Mode, kinda like what they did with Rikka's new support. Also Raika isn't far at all, we just got all the Memento support currently available and the Fusion stuff was released in LED the same pack with the first set of Raika cards now whenever KONAMI releases these cards into MD is entirely up in the air

I am sick of people talking about Snake rain as if its some gatekeeping card. I mean Snake Rain doesn't do anything for reptiles without grave effects and even for Ogdo you would need to support them A LOT for it to matter in any competitive sense.

Snake Rain is a good card but its no stronger than the stuff other archetypes have that belongs to them alone. Konami is not designing cards with Snake Rain in mind to avoid breaking snakes. They will just break them if they want to make them good and sell Reptiles for a bit before maybe banning Rain if its too Meta.

From Age of Overlord the only things missing are supreme king, ogdoadic, watt and shinobird.

Most likely next month we will have Supreme king, Vaalmonica and Majespecter.

Voiceless Voice, Shinobird, Raidraptor and Goblin will probably come in July.

Centurion, Watt, White and Ghoti may come with Tenpai in August or September.

Ogdoadict support will most likely come with Raika, Aroma, and Yubel in August or September.

All this assuming that they don't repeat the Bonfire thing and start bringing two packs per month.

I was hoping they would fit it in here, I already want this pack for horus and memento so I would have been fine even if they made nephilabyss a UR for some reason. But chances are it'll come in the next pack and I'll just end up having to craft them

We know full well both Ogdoadics end up being UR, simply because a demand exists for them. They almost have to be, because otherwise we could just craft them straight up with the mountains of every other type of CP we're sitting on and not need to buy packs in the first place.

Personally, I'm hoping for an Ogdo structure deck including the two of them, even if they're uncraftable exclusives in that case. Cheaper to get and fairer to other archetypes that are also competing for UR slots.

Are there uncraftable cards? Absolutely, you haven't noticed? The zombie Felgrand, Decode talker Heatsoul, and the Magician of Chaos ritual off the top of my head. Unless that's changed literally as of today's update, they cannot be crafted and exist in no packs. Only way to get them is by purchasing the structure deck with them. It's a not-so-subtle way to force people that have already invested in particular decks to buy the structures anyway.

Well that sucks. I didn't notice because I don't care enough to chase those particular royals but still, they aren't insignificant. Feels like MD doesn't quite understand royals. I mean we can't even get royals of rare cards which include classics like Chaos Emperor Dragon. Hopefully they rectify all this one day. Maybe with tickets like Duel Links has.

To be fair you don't get structure decks for lots of new cards, you get them to ease peoples purchase into an archetype. Make it so they can buy less popular or powerful stuff without breaking the bank. That way they can play a fan favorite but weaker deck while they get tempted into the meta.

Daybreak is a main part of the combo in the deck and gives insulation against Nibiru. The deck feels barely playable compared to what it does with it. If anything Nephilabyss is the "good extender".
