kinda curious what kind of decks you play that get hard-countered by maxx-c and can't afford to put in crossout/called by/ash ?
A Errata like this would be interesting: Instead of just being a quick effect, you can only play it at the beginning of a phase.
You know what Maxx C does? It keeps Dragoon banned. That's it. If you don't like Dragoon then just propose both live on the banlist. It isn't worth a greater evil. Also Maxx C means Birds have to take constant hits because they don't care about it which is bad when its in 90+% of decks.
Also putting Maxx C there just makes it seem less important to keep those truly impossible decks in line. With a proper banlist you could stop the powerful ones and stuff that does 20 summons and ends on mediocrity wouldn't just be dead on arrival. Which is quite a few decks.
If the problem is big combo decks you can't beat, Maxx C isn't the answer. Banning the cards from those decks is the answer.
