Baronne De Fu, on the other hand...
S Tier, a non quick effect specific target removal that destroys anything(not just monster)once per your turn, with a quick effect single use negate activation which destroys able to counter anything, who can on any standby phase revive a lv9 or lower monster while returning to extra deck to be summoned again.
It's on par with Albion Sanctifire & Mirror Jade combined.
Wouldn't it be the inverse, if mirrorjade was so good every deck would be trying to fit it into their deck, my 1 mirrorjade barely sees play in my matches, it's a card that separates the skilled branded players from the trend followers that can't come up with cool comboes.
baronne is better because it's splashable with no requirements, it negates activation and not effect with most cards you can activate a second copy the negate is non-hopt, but how many cards are there that can make a second baronne in a single turn? anything else is targeting which means you can interact with it. the actual text on mirrojade is literally custom: non-targeting non-hopt banish that sends a +1 for cost, which always mean a 2 for 1 trade, with a non activated raigeki if you clear it. nah
Skillful Combos & Good Deck Construction With Cheesy Summon Lock, sure you can't really prevent the standard Ash/Imperm from bricking you, but when you pop off you pop off, if a loser just branded fusions S.Lubellion & goes Mirrorjade/dump S.Albion Set Spell/Trap on End Phase, you know your dealing with a scrub, I can setup either a Lock & or Tax depending on hand, or route into a Lubellion+Branded Beast Combo, likely even Cartesia. All Turn One, Mileage Varies, Called By/Crossout maybe Merc can stop ash but it's hardly reliable/consistence.
I mean yeah. Come on man. At least do the Bystial Lubellion combo. That doesn't take much more thought than "Mirrorjade + Set 1 Pass" and it's already much better.
I'm still amazed that people can hate branded so much when snake-eyes is tier 0.5 and will be tier 0 when bonfire/fire kings support comes out.
snake-eyes, lab, SHS are all running rampant but branded is clearly the problem somehow?
1. Branded is one of the best overall deck in general. But at the same it denying "you need to negate everything to make sure you win the game. Therefore generic boss monster is too OP".
2. Branded is not OP. Therefore the previous sentences from before is invalid.
3. People just hate anything that beat their deck.
