best part of yugioh is making a deck from random packs and getting good with skill and strategy but ppl can just buy op deck and watch a how to and just win without skill

What you want is a draft format. Just find a group of like minded players and organize a duel room for it.

Get rid of crafting too. It's unnecessary. After all, I reached DLv. MAX without it (and without structure decks).

Most of the structure decks are bad tho? The only really good ones are the Sword soul structure deck (Which you can't buy) and the Blackwing structure deck which includes pretty much everything you need to make blackwing decks.

Not only did it lose to competence, it basically started losing to competence before the original series was even over.

I'm sorry, but your jerry beans man beatdown deck isn't some giga-brained skillful strategy. The days of kids playing in the school yard with a starter deck kaiba and 4 packs of metal raiders are long gone. I mean this in the nicest way possible, but if a structure deck is considered overpowered compared to whatever you're playing, I don't think you should be saying much on the state of the game

I stopped wanting to go into random packs when I got to a point where there were particular Decks I wanted, none of which were top Decks (at least, my builds certainly weren't, and they absolutely aren't now). And it was faster just to get the cards individually (or craft on Master Duel) then to just go blindly into a pack without little to no knowledge of what it could contain only to find it didn't have it (if it could even have what I wanted in the first place).

they need to make more structure decks imo. Especially for the archetypes that have absurd UR numbers. Tho they'd have to actually put them in there.

I acquired all special packs with gems that the game gives us the possibility of acquiring for free, whether these or the already structured decks or even secret decks that you discover, of which I have already discovered dozens of them, of all of these there are cards that we can only get acquire exclusively in normal Master packs, essential cards and the best and ultra rare ones, no matter how much you spend 300 tickets and 300 packs, the only way to acquire them is with creation points, a piece of advice, save your creation points and acquire them manually , look for the UR cards that you don't have and that should come out exclusively in the normal Master packs and that don't come out in any other pack and spend the UR creation points on them because you can open 500 packs and not come out.

I purchased all the special packs and structural decks just to have the most complete collection and I still had almost 2490 gems left without the gems earned by dueling and without the premium pass, from here just add gems from the duels and the premium pass and eliminate cards in excess to acquire these very rare items that only come out in the master packs manually with the points

Structured decks, as the name suggests, are structured does not mean they are good, because with other UR cards we can create mixed decks avoiding these structured bases

This requires around 20 thousand gems
Purchase all the Mage and Blue Eyes Dragon anniversary space packs plus the special packs that give us a UR card with all of this plus there are more than 200 free tickets and packs that you can acquire by discovering secret decks

all this just as a beginner without spending a penny and with gems from beginner and solo missions

Summary :
No Dueling, just the solo game finished and mission prizes acquired
22,690 gems and more then 200 tickets (400++ cards) ; 99 secret packs finded

It gets worse when Konami decides to deceive us with the packs..when the pack's light effect tells us that a super rare or ultra rare card is coming and in the end two normal cards come out ♥♥♥♥ you konami lol I advise you to make an external list of the best cards before they disappear from the collection or you think you got them in the open packs and they don't appear in the collection..bizarre lol
