They've already had Fenrir hit to 1 because everyone else used it and Birth to 1 because reasons. If you hit unicorn to 1 also the deck becomes unplayable.
Unicorn isn't the only card that has an extra deck rip anyway, perhaps just the most common. If you're not running at least 2 offs of important extra deck pieces these days thats kinda on you.
Making it unplayable is not the worst thing to do. This theme shouldn't have existed ever

what i do know is that unicron needs an arata or something its too hard of a counter to extra deck reliant decks anybody who"s played salamangreat can tell you that you need at least 2x copies of your salamen extra deck monsters leaving me with a bit of room, if i'm going to get two cards ripped away that's basically a whole combo i cant use, i could do what @tempestFox3 said and run 3x but that would basically leave me with around 4 to 5 slots of free card space to play with and at that point why even play the deck if i cant add my own flair to it not to mention salamangreat extra deck monsters are not that good on their own.
@Ghost X its not about its ranking its about a single card that is at three and cost nothing to summon, splashable and can (by itself) stomp out decks, i know cards like alba zoa are out there but at least they are still playable when sent to the gy/bz and requires steps to get it on field. i don't have a problem with the rest of the kashtira archetype.
Full power Kash's main gimmick is zone blocking via Mindhacker & Shangira. It has never really been full power in Master duel, It was pre-Hit with mindhacker outright banned and Field spell at 1 and Fenrir at 2 on release and since had additional hits of fenrir to 1 because every deck was playing Fenrir at 2 because it could search itself and was a free summon at the turn start that pressured your opponent if they activated any monster effects and Birth to 1 which hurts their consistency and recursion.
Kashira as a full deck archetype hasn't really had any impact on the meta of Master duel, it was popular for a bit after it first came out then fell off, It's being played more often now because it has a very favourable matchup against Snake eyes and other grave yard reliant decks.
