the f2p dream is over
yes, yes you can make a new account bla, bla, I am a f2p player and I do just fine bla, bla, but actually keeping up with the game easily is dead, even if you grind absolutely everything(like I do), ur still not doing these 1500 UR cp decks, they've flipped the switch on deck accessibility, at this point we've rolled back to the duel links days, where by the time you get all the cards you need to complete a meta deck, it's already close to getting nerfed, so what you gonna do? invest money to get the deck early so you can get the best out of it, or packs, get the cards little by little and when you're aaaaalmost done with the job, they limit the living ♥♥♥♥ out of it, and guess what, we got a new store pack, gl next time

Buttercup, just between these two events and playing a little bit daily, that's easily 8k+ gems. It's still a very generous f2p game. The only people struggling are those with no patience or just flat out don't understand how to manage resources.

Also the overwhelming majority of decks do not require 1500 ur material. That's a ridiculously small percentage of decks compared to the overall amount that can be made with 300- 800 UR. The only prerequisite is if you built decks that shared card staples.

And finally, you don't need to make a new deck every single time they release new packs.

Just save up. You are clearly spending gems wrong or trying to get EVERYTHING. Save for what you really want.

This game is perfectly FTP. I am out here chasing alt arts with my FTP gems lol.

Play a single deck for more than a month and you wont know where to spend your gems you don't have to hop on literally every new deck people tell you is good

Edit: They also arnt 1500 UR CP decks alot of that will be staples stuff you probably already owned even including those im not sure we get to 1500

Alas, every time someone writes on public forums that this game is very generous, he teases the developers with a red rag to tighten the screws more tightly

it's not for the devs, it's for the average player that wants to pick this trash up, maybe they have the wisdom to stay away

Well, you don't have to worry about this: the average player leaves the game immediately after losing their first duels without being able to make their first turn at all. This game is played mainly by those who know well what to expect from the gameplay and are more or less adapted to it.

The devs don't come to this forum or read any of these troll threads anyway. And that this game is generous compared to similar games is a statement of fact that is relevant to people talking about the game. So what's your point here?

If developers can decide to nerf certain cards or decks based on player feedback, they can do the same if someone brags too much about how easy it is to get meta decks in the game, papa Troll

They decide to nerf stuff in consideration to player feedback. There's a difference. Ultimately I believe Konami only cares about 'the feedback's from its competitive scene like almost every game now that wants to profit from it and even then changes are few and far between based on results from those tournament scenes. If complaints actually did anything we would see a lot more changes more frequently. We get it, you are frustrated, but Papa has a point that if you want your voice heard; these forums are like screaming in your head, they aren't going to hear it no matter how loud you yell.

If they were making decisions based on "feedback" from the steam forums, we would have every floodgate at 3 and hits to random decks like gem-knights or purrely that aren't even relevant to the current format. I doubt they even read english feedback to begin with, I had a full bug report after a few hours of testing with a bugged card with a friend that got basically ignored by support and he had to re-submit it in japanese to actually have it looked at. And then the card got fixed not long after the japanese bug report. I don't know why you think somebody on these forums saying the game is f2p friendly is going to affect what they're doing

I expected such an answer and this is why I said public forums and not Steam forums specifically. This may include popular YouTube streamers. Honestly, I don't know if I really need to explain anything to you, if you don't want to read, because you're one of those guys here who always nitpicks on minor little things in my posts, calling me stupid without being provoked. Such things can really frustate anyone, I hope destroying someone else’s emotional balance is not your goal, but just in case I warn you that in my case you will not have an easy job in doing so :bbtcat:

??? nobody here called you stupid and I don't think I've even seen you around here any time recently. I was responding about the lack of relevance to this thread, and I even said that direct feedback through konami's official feedback paths seems to often be ignored, much less public forums they're less likely to see. You seem to be taking disagreement with a point way too personally

I mean they've given us 1000 or so gems for 2nd Aniversary, You get a couple hundred gems a day from dailys and there's two events worth approx 6000-7000 gems over the next week.

I don't see why people are doomerposting?

In the last couple months alone I've Built Branded, PUNK/Pride & Now Rescue Ace/Snake-Eye.

aben WHY (VC Off) Feb 13, 2024 @ 6:19pm
I mean just don't play the deck that's getting nerfed eventually? I pretty much never build t1/t0 deck and every ban list is just pay day for me.
