Why won't Konami hit Branded?
That deck has received no significant hits since Branded Fusion to 1.

The question implies that Konami hasn't hit Branded at all.

That being said, here's why...there's no real reason to.

Yes there is. They're arguably the strongest deck in the game right now, and other decks have been hit for far less. Heck, Card of Demise was banned and Runick wasn't anywhere near as powerful as Branded.

all branded and bystial cards need to be limited to one.

yet I can still consistently find myself playing through or shutting it down maybe you should stop looking at these tier lists so much its damaging to your ability to think for yourself they are a suggestion at best

Anecdotal evidence.
Probably cause it always has new support that needs to come out, it's also possible that they want to keep it around to keep people interested in Chimera Fusion once that drops

Say what you want ignore the genuine good advice people obsess so much over what tier a deck is and they enter duels vs whatever the deck of the week is with a losing mindset

Because there's nothing they could hit in the branded engine which would harm it's consistency, semi limited opening, ran an extra jester, semi limited jester ran an extra kitt, semi limit kitt? run an extra dragon keeper, they already hit instant fusion which was a big fusion nerf, but they unlimited super poly so... Anyways branded fusion is a powerful recyclable fusion card but the whole engine dies if it gets banned & nobody would ever touch the deck again as it can't function competently without it, which also means a single ash blossom normally stops a pure branded deck so why complain about a single card which is easy to counter.

Also have a way to dump. sarior/albion retribution brand fusion, it's a less optimum round about way to reach branded fusion, I even used instant fusion & predaplants to reach branded fusion back in the day.

Branded Fusion is a bit more powerful when it's stacked on top of other fusion decks, then you have an additional setup on top of the other decks combos when played.

If you don't have Branded Fusion, you have Branded in Red, White, and Blazing Cartesia, all farmable and easy to gather.

Branded Fusion and Bystial Lubellion need to go to 0 at the very least.

If a deck refuses to die for 2 years, it's kind of expected to see it get completely nuked by the banlist for financial reasons. See also: the entirety of TOSS format.

I forgot what TOSS stood for.

The specifics don't matter, only the fact that it's four separate decks that were the meta until a nuclear-grade banlist killed all of them at once.

As controversial a take as it might be, I think it could be interesting if Albaz was limited. Such a change means going second becomes riskier due to cards that can move Albaz around, especially to the banish zone. It also hinders the ceiling and recursion. Overall, I do agree with your opinion, though. Branded is an oversupported archetype that, nowadays, has too many ways out compared to other decks, especially due to the addition of new cards that can help the deck end on non-Albaz fusions in case Branded Fusion is a bust (which is why I believe they're doing so in Bo1 Master Duel).

With all that said, SHS is still the more degenerate archetype as it stands, and is the current wave of hate, and soon I predict it'll change over to Diabellestar (maybe), then Fire King after that. So, Branded very well might just go under the radar due to the upcoming archetypes that'll just start making people unhappy.
Exvalcore 3 feb, 2024 @ 20:38
Branded In Red doesn't start any combos going first, it only works if you can somehow dump albaz into grave it's more of a turn 2 card to set down with albion fusion, shrouded albion makes semi or even limit one albaz pointless, ablaz even has two other cards treated as his name while in gy/field.
brago90 4 feb, 2024 @ 4:36
Because it is not necessary, in 3 days Diabellstar is coming and with it the fire engine that will create the next generation of meta decks.
