Anyone else get really interested in the "story" some cards tell? *SOLO MODE SPOILERS*

I replayed a solo gate, scenes and all, and it just kinda struck me how much details go into the cards that construct a story. I know Duel Terminal would give out some stories and such, but I think my personal favorite is the story of the Solemn cards and Forbidden items line which leads into a rather cool story (it goes all the way through to becoming associated with the darklords until finally redemption, or at least an attempt)

What are some of your favorite card lore stories? How often to you notice little details in cards that show their relations? To be honest, what sparked this was the six samurai gate. I completely forgot how Mizuho actually becomes hand of the six samurai (with her old armor in the background), which is kinda crazy since hand of the six samurai came first. I really do think Konami does a pretty awesome job with these stories, even if they aren't the focus of the game (Not necessarily the ones in Master Duel, I just mean in general when you look at the cards)

For me it'd have to be some of the smaller stories throughout it's early history for example the Gagagigo lore, Blazing Inpachi and the Dog Marron and how it ends up becoming part of Skull Servants lore. Stuff that's small and subtle sprinkled out but if I had to pick one modern archetype whose lore ties into it's gameplay it'd have to be Nemleria.

Albaz lore is on YT if anyone is interested. For myself I liked the lore of Ghoti since that is now my fav deck.

@Kloey I absolutely loved Marron's story, but its really sad, but I guess it gets a happy ending.

I guess the same for that goblin kid that wound up as the 2024 deck box

@TormentedSalad I really love Sangan's story too, it is pretty hilarious. How he is so directional impaired and how he meets actually a massive amount of crossover characters is great

all of the cards depicting ban list stuff is fun and the goblin with the ugly shirt too its always the really stupid lines of cards with small self contained stories that get me

I watched on YT the lore of dogmatika/branded. Ecclesia and Albion's story was quite interesting and how it interacts with other archetypes like swordsoul, springan and tri-brigade.

I have been meaning to watch dogmatika/branded, but I am a bit weary of both of those because of duels ^_^;; Dogmatika is something I'm kinda interested in though
