STOP LIMITING POT CARDS!!!!!
Who the F**K decides the restricted cards on general games????
My deck is based on old cards and it is difficult enough playing against the newer OP / hacked cards that are coming out. By putting limits on old cards like pot of extravagance they are putting making it even more difficult to play with older decks!!!
Especially when you build your own from a mish mash of cards like Youghioh!!!!

Then why are you upset? This helps you. Pot cards are far stronger in constructed decks than they are in a mish mash of playground cards. If they banned every single pot card, it would lower the power difference between your deck and a real one

Yes, because they should be banned, not limited where they are sacky.

Generic drawpower is pure cancer, ban all the pots, and card of demise, and limit chicken game/upstart.

Yes i hate Exodia.

I wouldn't ban all pot cards. Some like Pot of Acquisitiveness and Pot of Dichotomy actually feel quite balanced. The biggest offenders are arguably Pot of Desires and Pot of Prosperity. They give too much advantage and barely have any draw backs. It is kind of a shame that Konami's hatred of Floowandereeze has gotten the others limited.

As a side note, I agree that deck thinning cards like Chicken Game and Upstart should get banned. They do nothing but add consistency to a game that already has problems with decks being too consistent. Chicken Game be used with Ancient Fairy Dragon to search any Field Spell.

I don't think this statement is entirely accurate. Rather than lowering the difference between the decks, it would just lower the power level of both decks.

I've honestly been wondering this for awhile. Why is nobody on master duel running upstart? I would be but I can't afford to craft them. I don't care how tight your deck is on space, there is no way your combo becomes less consistent if your deck is 37 cards. It jumps your combo statistics quite a bit

edit: On second thought, I guess its because the space they would've most likely taken up has Maxx C and that's just superior.

Hand Traps are definitely superior to Upstart. They can be used to stop your opponent while Upstart just deck thins. Plus, if your going first, your opponent might Maxx "C" you before you can resolve the effect and draw an out. All that said, deck thinning can be extremely strong in the right decks.

Most of the deck that I saw used Upstart usually deck that move around spell cards such as Sky Striker, Runick and Purrely. I always stick at 40 cards deck, most of the time I tried more than that I always bricky.
haha, you need request new mode game for old decks only or something similar.

...and it lowers the power level of the good decks more than that of bad decks. Pot of extravagance has a lot more value in a constructed labrynth deck when it can draw into any of your 12 ways to reach a welcome, than it does in a playground deck where it'll draw you a vanilla monster and call of the haunted. It wouldn't even need to be hit if only bad decks could play it, but clearly that isn't the case

why pot when you can max c for unlimited draw?

The problem is not the +2 by itself, but the broken power creeped cards that you can draw into.
