Vanquish Soul is by far the most antifun deck to play against

i hate runick most. lab, mathmech, and purrely are tied for my second most hated decks. it's just the format though. this format sucks btw. can't deck build for anything and there's no side-decking so it feels like luck is the main factor rn.

VS is Tier 1 and runs TCBO which is a problem much like Mystic Mine was in the past. I still hate purrely the most because at least VS has flair. Garfield on the other hand just sits there and eats your board.

lol VS is top tier? It won two events in OCG then got rarity bumped in TCG where it did basiclally nothing but scam people out of 800$ usd for a VS core.
If you are crying about razen pop, then you are either so trash it doesn't matter what you vs or your deck is so trash that two pops + HTs destroys you.

Also we are at a point where OCG lists do not predict the meta and the format is different from TCG.

Then again I agree it is a little overrated.

At least Vanquish Soul isn't bad enough to fight against compared to the Branded, Tearlaments, and Purrely decks. It does little increments at a time but it happens a lot over the course of a duel. The main factor is the little bursts for their window of opportunity throughout the duel. The advantage becomes too much if they aren't handled properly and often times they recover whatever resources they pretty much loss from stopping their opponent's plays when their turn comes around again. Other than that just play smart and take your time. You actually have to use a bit more brainpower than you're used to but with a little more head spinning, gear grinding, you can win some games.

It's based on fighting games, whose competitive scenes make Yugioh look welcoming. I don't know what you were expecting.

I actually keep up with what pros and yugitubers think of the state of MD and in terms of Meta it is far more healthy than previous. The game itself has not changed much and needs more features, but it's overall gotten better. I also never stated that I was even remotely a professional, so I don't get the sudden need to try and talk down to me.
