A lot of the going second problems are mitigated by handtraps and cards like Triple Tactics, as well as just playing a deck that does well going second.

We should definitely ban Maxx "C" tho, it's probably the most universally hated card in the game. It's not a fun interaction, it's a chore.

Evenly Matched should also be banned tbh. It's an unfair buzzkill card that rewards bad play and punishes good play.

You lose your main phase 1 and battle phase by activating that card and can be negated. Its fine as it is. Just like DRNM got a effect that dont allow you to deal dmg to your opponent when its used.

At this point we dont need less cards that deal with broken turn 1 boards. Only frustration I see with it is you now lost most of your board and opponent now start doing his own toxic board and its now your turn to deal with that.

Also weaker decks loss hard to it. But in general Evently is needed. You could say Raigeki is a unfair card aswell cause its an easy board wipe.

That's what I meant. Evenly is a card that ruins lower level play and effectively widens the gap between rogue and meta needlessly. It's a badly designed card that discourages interaction and rewards going 2nd a little too much. Fenrir is a fair Evenly and yet even then, people talk about it needing to be banned or limited (I don't think it does, but that's another topic).

They're not even remotely on the same power level. Plus Raigeki was banned for most of its life when it would've been relevant. We're at the point where destruction effects are either protected from, or floating monsters. Evenly is a facedown banish, the most permanent form of removal, and the wording means that it forces the opp to do the action, any "due to an opponent's card effect" written on cards wouldn't even trigger at all.

In a roundabout way, comparing Evenly to Raigeki can be taken as a statement that it needs to be banned anyway.

I say we should unban all cards set the timer to at least 700 seconds and refresh 100 seconds per action

not to say the game is not perfect in every way already but to make it MORE perfect!

I love it when people act like theyre above this game and call it ♥♥♥♥, but still decide to tell as many people as possible they think it's ♥♥♥♥, then get mad when people call them out on being a whiner with a skill issue.

can you not see that it is you and me that need to adopt a new way of thinking?

playing to turn 3 is not optimal the meta demands we adapt or die the true meta needs us to win or lose on turn one.

Oh wise and optimal meta players please pity us non meta mortals as we have not risen to the true meta game that the Konami gods truly want from us please help us rise up from our mortal coil of playing to turn 4 and beyond, teach us the forbidden ways of the one turn meta so that none may see turn 4- NO turn 2 ever again.
