Why is it people complained more about Tearlament than Purrely?
I am surprised for the lack of whiny threads about Purrely, discussions on Tearlament rival almost the complains for Maxx C but everyone is surprisingly okay with Purrely despite being the kind of annoying deck that makes you root for Floowandereze and Drytron players on replays.

People who complained either got over it or moved on I'd say. Next large event/promo that draws more people in will see more complaining about meta.

Tearlaments without chains is tier 0
Purrely is tier 1

Tearlaments in its worst moments is still a meta-relevant deck and very present in tournaments (OCG and TCG).

Basically people have suffered what it is to live in a tier 0 meta and now they have more experience when it comes to judging things.

Its ironic people tries divert the toxic issue away ...Tearlament part of game ruining experience

Cause Kashtira is now the main complain topic now.
Cause Purrely isn't an issue and Tear was

Purrely isn't really a problem. But more importantly towards your question, you don't see it every other game. This format was pretty diverse in TCG and even with master duel releasing its decks piecemeal, you see much more variety than you did when tearlaments was around, so now you're only seeing complaints from the people who complain about everything

Tear full power literally a combination of broken card which pretty much mess up everyone deck, GY, and even unlimited Spell & trap negate with a terrifying consistency. They could even do it on YOUR turn, messing up every gameplay you could pull of during your turn before they even have a turn.

There is reason why tearlaments called tear 0 at it's peak.

People always whine about tear playing before they even get a turn it wasn't that consistent it happened maybe once every 5 games assuming you saw tear in each of them you sound like that guy coping on the turn 0 Winda play and 2 weeks into tear format i'd already cut Winda entirely win more crap

I'd take Purrely over Tearlament any day. Purrely is just a one trick pony. You use all of your resources to build a fat monster and sit on it just like Marincess. Then you pray they don't have an out to it and if they don't you win. Easy, effective, and so simple to understand. It's pretty straight forward. Tearlaments on the other hand got that mad scientist fuel. They spam monsters and fusions every turn making monsters out of thin air. They kill your deck with Ishizu and make their deck stronger with every card in the graveyard. It seems obvious at this point which one is more dangerous to play against but this is just how I would view the comparison of complaints between Purrely and Tearlament.

Fact is Purrely isn't that bad to most people. Its just a towers and some interruptions that also has plenty of draw power. Nothing we haven't seen before and it doesn't floodgate from what I can see. Barely does anything on your turn too.

So most people just don't care about it. Not to mention Kashtira is going to annoy a lot of people soon. So between Tear and Kash most people are too focused on other things to care about a cute towers deck.

Also pure Drytron is cool. HERALD on the otherhand is way worse than anything purrely does. I would rather play against something I can play cards against than something that just says no 5+ times.

Same here. But that is just what happens when not only monsters but traps aswell has its own inbuild negate now. And some of those traps keep you negated as long its on the field or effect your monsters permanetly even if its removed.

Purrely is easier to deal with. That's why. One Kaiju and some backrow removal and it's done. The only thing that they do that feels stupid and unfair is sleepy memory drawing 2-6 cards during your standby phase.

I don't really mind if all they did is fusion summoning and having tear cards effect triggers in the graveyard. What I mind is they also broke my gameplay entirely by milling ishizu's during my turn. We all know what would happen next unless my main deck having their effect triggered when sent to GY.
