The guys name was maple with a default profile.
I won the coin toss and I was greeted by an endless connecting screen.
After 20 minutes I restarted the game and I was given a loss
And as you see, loss with no deck profile or anything.
It is safe to assume this person has been doing this all day.
That was fixed some time ago to count as a loss for the person closing the game.
I was do this couple of time to avoid me to go first turn. and same menu i was have, even if you exit in middle of game, you will have same menu.

Anyhow, the issue is that the same type of profile (No customization, 0 0 followers etc) are doing this and it has been reported to konami, much like the old exploit with the coin toss on release.
Hope you reported him then.
EACH AND EVERY F&*KDAMN TIME they send me back a copy-paste form letter saying 'blah blah blah tech support isn't here to teach you how to play" and I'm like ♥♥♥♥♥ he somehow forced me to surrender before I even drew a card, there is literally no gameplay mechanic that causes it.
They don't care, they're just getting rich on a flawed product and refuse to address abuse.
