Hm... Isn't it easier to find a group that also using classic cards, and then holding a matchup and playing together? This way you will find someone that actually for your deck style.

Just saying that even in the classic format, there is also a toxic deck line up that pretty much turning off some duelist in classic format.

Just host a tournament with a prize pool of your duel format. Surely people will be motivated build a proper deck to duel.

Unfortunately, I don't have my old cards anymore and building a deck thats good for the format is quite pricey.

It's a F2P program with most cards free. Pretty sure you have to go to their Discord to get it because of DMCAs but it was pretty popular before MD was released.

I think that's what they're talking about at least. If it's the website one then it's not worth it because you do everything manually which means the inevitable ruling problems.
