Farming challenge like activate spell/traps card or normal summon monster.
The main advantage is you kill yourself very fast so you not have to watch your oppenent do 10 minuts combo.

That and it's gets dailies out the way fast.

It's mostly bots and it's so they can farm the duel pass and a few of the challenges

I do it to complete dailies quickly. If you're just trying to finish off "activate 3 spells" or "activate 2 traps" it's a lot easier to run off a quick self-burn than wait through the endless solitaire waiting for the opponent to kill you.

Even when it's completely wide open, the opponent has lethal, and I'm wanting to scream at the screen "just bleeping finish" they just continue to mill cards around forever. So I just kill myself rather than wait for them to do it. It's much more time-efficient.

Dunno, but occasionally when I fight one I like to take as long as I possibly can. Grab a cup of tea, read all the card effects, maybe even get to work cooking breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Purely there as robots that farm the daily challenges like Play x amount of spells/traps. Good news is it's a free W in Ranked
