How long does it normally take for this game to add newly released cards?

Wanting to build a Gate Guardian deck with the new support cards, but can't because they aren't added yet. How long does it normally take?

We get a new pack each month cards vary its not even in the same order so its hard to say when something specific will be added but considering how new gate guardian is its probably a while out

If going by OCG release date, Gate Guardian will need to be first introduce in World Premiere Pack (think of it as a special booster box to release TCG exclusive cards) which is usually release in Sept. Given that MD is 9~12 months (seriously Konami, speed up) behind, you are looking at earliest Jun 2024.

If going by TCG release date, using Libromancer as an example, you are looking at Dec 2023. Libromancer last main card was release in TCG on May 2022. It only got into MD in Jan 2023, Selection Pack: Heroic Warriors. That is around 8 months. Given that Gate Guardian is release in Mar 2023 in TCG, assuming no more further support card added, estimated to release Dec 2023 in MD. Because Dec is 1~2 months before anniversary, they may just delay it further to whichever anniversary month they decide.

Of course, if there is any special event that is related to old school classic stuff, which I don't think so and have not heard, they may have a special early release. Whichever it follows, earliest is next year. By the way, was anyone using them in their locals tournament?
