Its crazy that Red Eyes Black Dragon doesn't have a structure deck.

Its a playable enough archetype and one of the big anime cards people remember and would want to try out. I just don't get how its been showing up in events and gotten people like me into tinkering with the cards yet still doesn't have a structure to make things easier for people.

They got Red Eyes Zombie Dragon stuckture deck instead. Pretty bad excuse for not making a proper deck with the real one.

You get to choose Blue Eyes as your starter deck and DM got a stuckture deck but Red Eyes is just getting a zombie deck no one plays.

And at the same time those players are still cooping about Dragoon is still banned cause they want him in thier deck.

Red Eyes definitely needs a "dragoon' though. None of the fusions it has protect themselves at all which is really bad considering its archetype fusion spell wants you to play with 1 summon. So I get why people want Dragoon since its the closest thing to a red eyes boss monster the deck has. Don't get me wrong I love the other fusions but they are all beaters and burners. None of them do anything to try and avoid dying. The least they could do is explode when destroyed or something.

Honestly been wondering is the true Red Eyes black dragon isn't Albaz. Feels like he took everything red eyes wanted and ran with it. Literal red eyes black dragon. Least they could do if give red eyes its own mirror jade equivalent.

Unfortunately I don't think relinquished has enough support to even make a structure deck.

I do agree that the archetype could use a Structure Deck as no one is going to waste their resources on building the Deck otherwise even if they would be interested in playing it for fun. The issue is that there is no real hook for it. Dragoon kind of would be but the OCG PTSD is still too strong and Red-Eyes doesn't have a wave of unreleased support waiting to be implemented either.

The hook would just be lessening the UR burden. Its a better deck than some of the other structures so there is no reason to not make one. We just got soul and Meteor so that would have been the perfect time for it. Which is why it baffles me that they didn't add a structure and I see no hints of it either unless its coming too far for leaks.

The whole thing just seems like a missed opportunity unless someone at Konami knows about some legacy support for an anniversary coming we don't know about. I mean maybe they are planning it like that. They did Dark Magician like that too. Kept it way overdue just for the anniversary.

Honestly I only made this post because I was considering some pulls or crafts and baffled that there isn't just a starter deck I could buy with the Black Comet and/or slash Dragon in it.

The anime nostalgia tax is real. I think the Blue-Eyes SD will come out for the second anniversary, and then Red-Eyes for the third one.

Blue Eyes is a starter deck so it could be delayed a lot. Structure deck for Red Eyes might be delayed too though if they think Zombie counts lol. Still the lack of ANY red eyes cosmetics is strange. Like it makes me wonder if they have an actual plan for the anniversary.
