If your card just sent something to the grave as part of its effect then dark law changes nothing
You cannot use Ninja cause its wording says Send to GY. Meaning to activate you must send it to the GY but you are currently being floodgated to not be able to do so. If Ninja said Discard it would activate fine.
I hope this helps you.
Lmao, the mental gymnastics to defend an obvious flaw is amusing.
If this works as you say then the correct text for Masked HERO Dark Law was supposed to be: "... Any card THAT WOULD BE SENT to your opponent's Graveyard is banished instead." Again, it banishes cards THAT ARE SENT TO THE GY it does not prevent them from going there.
Text is clearly wrong. YuGiOh is the only game where literal words don't follow their literal meaning.
Please fix the text and reprint the card with an errata.
Here's the exact wording of Dark Law: Any Card Sent To Your Opponents GY is Banished Instead.
It does not say it banishes cards that are sent. It says any card sent. Meaning any card that would be. Any Card Sent is correct grammar. You do not need to add useless words to get the meaning.
Instead covers it all. Instead does not mean banish it afterwards. Instead means if something would do something it would do this INSTEAD. This being the text prior to the word INSTEAD.
I don't wanna be rude but come on man. Isn't this getting old for you?
That's not what is written. I know YGO players can't read but you're just forcing the bar here.
Again: Any card SENT to your opponent's Graveyard is banished instead.
If cards are not being first sent to the GY than Dark Law pretty much nullifies its own effect and this is the dumbest thing I've seen.
So the text is misleading and obvious wrong.
Tell me what Instead means right now. Do it. Ignore Yugioh cards for a second. What does Instead mean.
How it can banish a card that doesn't exist in the GY yet. The effect contradicts the game ruling and you know that. It shouldn't prevent me from sending the card to the GY at all. In order for it to get banned, it must fist be dropped into GY and then immediately after that Dark Law effect is supposed to take place.
Looks like you are unable to admit when you are wrong.
