Newsflash: "caveman" yugioh the "yugiboomers" play is MUCH slower and certainly cant finish a match in minutes
Currently matches end before turn 4, yould be surprised how much time you can save if you removed every game animation and could just make the play happen with just "i do X, you counter?""no/yes""then i do Y afterwards, response?"

Mate, I play IRL, both at casual level and tournament level, and while sure, occasionally we had duels end in less than 5 minutes, a whole bo3 is impossible.

IDK since when you play and cant say i really care, your comment really sounded like you just got here, its hardly secret that current meta in general takes the brunt of time around doing the sistematical card-shuffling than proper player interaction, wich is why in non-serious settings you can make duels super fast just by skipping the card-manipulating bull to a minimum and you coudnt do that on an enviroment where people actually played more than just keep comboing to set the otk

Duels in 5 mins are not impossible and if its a casual and you agree to skip the card-manipulation, its not rare either

But w/e, make it the time you want, i certainly dont keep track of the games i play with a cronomether, but point was: 5 minutes a turn is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of the highest order no matter how you spin it, 10 mins is too little for a bo3? Maybe, but w/e... dont change the argument that its ridiculous how much time you often have to wait before you can do anything, heck, most card games have afkbots that rack tons of wins with players conceding because they werent willing to suffer a timer far less lenient than that

If you're so bored during someone's turn that you can't find something to do for that 5 minutes and you have no plays, either scoop or pull up flappy bird on your phone or something. Alt-tab and watch that cat video on youtube for the 100th time or something, idk. It's not as big of a problem as you're making it out to be.

Hell, use that time to meditate. Maybe you can find out why you're still playing this game.

Would be way better if damn game did not booted me for inactivity when failing to respond in 30 secs between a chain that took 4 mins to get there, but w/e

I can play path of exile and finish a simulacrum wave between each peek on the game while i do ranked to finish the daily, so its not so bad, sucks to be the guy waiting for me to click that i dont want to activate the card i set, but he started it...

Dunno how some people actually suffer tro that whole timer, and i certainly would be glad if i could finish the quests on casual or just surrender when opp starts chaining, but w/e, some people just like to watch the same-ish sets of chain occur for the n-th time i guess

I really don't know what to tell you guys. This whole long-turn argument is very much a you problem. It's part of the game and it's here to stay. You're welcome to ♥♥♥♥ on it and say how much you don't like it but at the end of the day that's part of what makes Yugioh, yugioh.

And I won't say your opinions aren't valid, but there's so much going on in this game that the long turns are just an unfortunate by-product. You learn to live with it or you move on, simple as that.
