We should make our own casual duel room

Forum casuals here, we should host casual duel rooms that happens on specific days we can organise right here on the forums. Make it happen.

I'll do some things on my part to aid this idea.

If you don't care about it, don't enter the discussion. They are doing their own thing, which is cool, they don't bother me, so I don't bother them either, it's a win-win.

I for one honestly wish Konami would allow people to create custom duel rooms, with custom banlists, having all the master rules, such as MR 5, MR 4, MR 3 and MR 2 (MR 1 was just MR 2 but with the ED being called Fusion Deck, so doesn't really matter as you can just recreate it by banning all ED cards that aren't fusion), and even custom rules, such as allowing only 1 field spell, turn 1 draw being back, timer changes, pretty much, let them customize it in whatever way they want, so it can be easier for them to find like minded people and enjoy the game that way.

My rule of thumb is, you don't try to ruin the game for me, you're free to do whatever you want.

Which is, of course, why you're so vocal with people who are trying to ruin the game for you by proposing new Master Rules that would make playing the game as it is now impossible. That's what they're never going to get, that the wacky ludicrous combofest of modern Yugioh is popular and there'd be nowhere else for people who like it to go if it went away.

I mean not just combofests would be ruined by the special summon limits people keep advocating for. Cubics are the furthest thing from a combo deck but if i activate ascensions grave effect during my turn i cant summon my boss monster with the proposed 2 special summon limits. I wouldnt even be able to play my Arcana Legendary Knight Slifer deck and that can be even less threatening than Cubics. I've literally been in all those topics asking the same old "but what about mayas" question and nobody has ever given a proper answer to that.

I've played multiple card games over the years, but Yu-Gi-Oh is the only one I've stuck with.

It's the only one that feels good to play for me, and while not perfect, it's still good enough.

Same. Its the freedom that gets me. All the combo stuff could be solved by formats and banlists. All these master rule idea's are just people forcing other games into Yugioh so they can play MTG speed duels all the time.
