Pot of Greed
At the start of your Main Phase 1: Draw 2 Cards. During the End Phase of this turn, you lose the Duel.
Draw 2 cards from your opponent's deck. You can only activate 1 "Pot of Greed" per turn.
Draw 2 cards (Ignore the whining from people who love combo decks and have no problem ending their own turn with Borreload Savage Dragon, Apollousa and Baronne de Fleur but think drawing 2 cards is too much and who use the term ‘draw the out’ unironically)
There we go, it’s fixed.
Someone's salty
Not really, my comment was tongue in cheek. There are plenty of people though who hyperventilate at the idea of Pot of Greed even going to 1 copy. Usually the same sort of people who use over 1/4 of their deck on their first turn.
Every single extra deck monster needs an archetype lock.
To give an example.
True King of All Calamities
instead of "2+ Level 9 monsters" it should be "2+ Level 9 "True Draco" or "True King" monsters"
And additionally to the quick effect, "You cannot activate monster effects except "True Draco" or "True King" the turn and the turn before, you activate this effect"
A complete archetype lock is the single best solution, and then it can go to 3 and no one will complain because it will never be played in another deck as a dumb rank 9 out of archetype option.
This change would keep it usable, just not meta relevant since it can only really be played on a True Draco/True King deck
Draw 1 card, there fixed it
You can only activate this card if you control no special summoned monsters.
Effect goes on as normal.
This card can not attack the turn it is summoned.
Mystic Mine.
(quick effect) You can activate this card from your hand.
I would be interested in seeing how this would play out. It would certainly help curb some of the more oppressive decks. But it would also hurt weaker/creative decks too.
Even though more ED restrictions would be a godsend, I wouldn't say that /all/ of them need it.
Draw 2 cards. You can not summon any monster for the rest of this turn. If you already summon a monster you can not activate this card. You can not add card(s) from your deck or graveyard this turn.
We have this already. It's called Upstart Goblin.
Added restriction: the tuner summoned by this effect can only be used as a Synchro material.
