On the other hand, we're in a meta that heavily involves adding cards to your hand, and it contributes to turn 1 control boards.
I'd summarise by saying the card is okay, but it just seems worse because of the current meta or state of the game.
It's an issue with floodgates in this game in general though. I myself am pretty tired of my opponent just flipping over Gozen match or TCBOO when I play a deck that requires you to get two monsters on board to do anything. There are just a number of these floodgates that just make you lose the game instantly so easily unless you drew the perfect hand for it. Yes, there are decks that get around each of these floodgates pretty well, but they will be completely stunned by another. So in that sense it's like you're just playing a game of roulettes, which is not what the game oughta strive for in my opinion. Only reason I don't even consider Colossus such a big deal is because most meta decks don't really have much of an issue outing it, and besides that there are a lot of staple going-second cards that deal with it pretty easily as well (Forbidden Droplet, DRNM, Imperm).
Wut? Look, I agree that Colossus isn't a big deal, but I describing Colossus as "healthy"... mate.. come on
If anything, Colossus can mainly only be taken advantage of turn 1 in the game's current state. And it does nothing to help player 2 fight against such lockout decks, since player 2 won't get a chance to summon it. I think that is kind of bad.
But it can also just become a rather weak recurring beatstick against decks that don't specifically add cards to their hands. So it doesn't really seem banworthy to me, just something that's relatively strong in the current meta.
