wasted time
just thinking how many hours player wasting in this game is horrifying
lets say a player invested 100 hours in this game by playing
and lets say half of them are lost games
than they played for 50 hours getting nothing as reward
and now count that up not for just 1 player but all player
this waste of time in this game is terrifying

Thats because you probably surrender a lot. You get nothing for surrendering. I lose all the time and I do just fine with all the gems I earn. If im losing I just go on my phone and wait for them to finish beating me.

Yeah, can't argue with time wasted getting nothing in the game, legit point.

surrender or losing is the same
both give no rewards

Wrong. You get rewards even when you lose so long as you do not surrender. The game even tells you this when explaining missions and event missions. If you surrender, nothing you did will count, but if you perform 3 special summons, that will count towards special summon missions, even if that game was a loss. The only missions you do not complete are the ones that say "Win a Duel".

It's only time wasted if you surrender. You can earn at least a pack a day by just getting on a match or two, regardless if you win or lose. About ~30 Minutes a day get you 140 Gems if you know how to farm your missions. Then its just a matter of saving up.

not fully true there are times you can lose and get nothing with out surrendering. while not as common since most times its done by losing to otk burn decks that go first.

Ya, in situations where you haven't played any cards then ya you may not get any rewards because you got FTK'd. Fortunately those are rare. But in situations where you play a spell and it gets negated, or something similar, will still count for some missions because most of the time they simply require activations and summoning. What happens after doesn't matter.

Don't play than, if people enjoy playing they're gonna play

Maybe stick to single player games if you can't handle losing

I really think Konami should make it so that you can get rewards even if you surrender, but ONLY after turn 2. With how the game is currently, usually if you go second and you can't stop your opponent's combo, they'll get a board out with enough omni negates to stop you from playing (especially in Duelist Cup events like the current one).
Then turn 3 comes around with you having an empty board and no playable cards and instead of swinging for win, they almost always BM for 5+ minutes because that's how people are in this game for some god forsaken reason, or it's a Runick player.

Right now, for the sake of dailies, it's way more time efficient to just surrender and match until you go first with a turn 1 suicide deck.

But even so, that's wasting more type tho. If you surrender in the middle of the turn, you can just find another match quickly, but endure 10 minutes turns watching the opponent do their thing for you to gain 1 or 2 ticks in a mision that asks you to do 10000 things, is it really worth it?

You don't get your mission rewards when everything you do is negated including summon. Better to take people's advice to surrender if you get nothing and opponent take long time to finish you.

Every videogame is literally a waste of time, unless you're getting paid for it. All we get out of it is enjoyment. Some people aren;t salty whiny crybabies that can't enjoy themselves unless they always win.

i feel like you'd save more time, if unless u know u can't out a board prolly scoop, like your opening hand cant play throu their board assuming you know what they can potentially end. Ive been main deckin Dark Ruler been pretty clutch if i can have it opening or lucky next draw on going second.
Kitsune GG Mar 16, 2023 @ 9:52am
Time in a game is only wasted if the person whose time it is, feels it is wasted.
