I don't agree with modern Yugioh

I think Master Duel as a platform is great and the f2p experience is very decent so this is not really a complain about the app but the game this app is representing which is Yugioh.

But overall the issues I have as a returning Yugioh player is:

• The game has become solitaire, the first thing you will notice is that it takes ages for the opponent to end their turn
  
• The rules about not being able to summon more than one monster may aswell just not exist anymore because you can litterally summon an horde of monsters and this is really not an specialized deck situation no, most decks work like that now
  
• Handtraps are broken and should not exist in the game, same as with the previous point, what is the point of having dedicated spell/trap cards zones when you can now disturb the player from your hand without the risk of your card being destroyed on the field?
  
• You can now constantly interrupt your opponent even from his own turn and from your hand
  
• Cards that look like bibles with tons of effects and little time to see what is happening
  
• This point is actually a complain with MD itself: why do you put an insta losing if you run out of time?, why not just give the turn to the opponent like any other card game, its like the developers of this game don't realize that Yugioh has tons of effects and stuff you need to read on top of the thinking you have to do and they decided it was a good idea to punish you with an insta loss if you run out of time?, its ridiculous.
  
• Remember I said your opponent can interrupt you in your own turn? well they can also basically play an entire turn on your own turn, its beyond ridiculous
  
• The powercreep is through the roof seriously the amount of ways that decks this days can get a one turn kill or very fast wins is insane, cards have way too much effects, too much protection, too much removal, too much special summon, too much of everything.
  
• Remember when black hole and raigeki were considered broken and even banned? well now you have ♥♥♥♥ like: " Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS- Sky Thunder" (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ name) that can do something even worse and its considered fine.
  
  Modern Yugioh feels like you were in a boxing match and instead of trading blows back and forward untill someone wins is as if the boxers had a Rope and handcufs and tried their best to tie the other one first and then when one of them is completely tied then now proceeds to ♥♥♥♥ him up and win. Its some coward stuff seriously.
  
  I just don't feel the same satisfaction of playing when I played the old DS WC games or even old IRL Yugioh, I feel like the game just changed too much and made it just not fun anymore, no wonder many people prefer other card games even if they lack the complexity of Yugioh they are fun at least and old Yugioh was complex and it didn't needed all of this new stuff that I listed.
  
  Honestly modern Yugioh is for cowards that don't want a real fight, you just want to opress your opponent and tie his hands as much as you can so he doesn't have a chance and you have 99% chances of not suffer any retaliation.

There is a simple solution to this. Don't play it.

Go find a Goat or Edison community if you want to play older formats, but that would require *gasp* actually talking to people.

The game has certainly changed. I don't think anyone will argue that. But, I don't think you need to make such snide remarks about the 'cowardice' of your opponents because you're not deckbuilding with the tools they have available to them in mind.

The 'playing during your opponent's turn' thing, I get, though. Tearlaments are, frankly, cards that shouldn't have been printed.

I have my own feelings about power creep. About comparing older hand traps like Veiler and Scarecrow to current, more widely applicable ones like Ash. How boss monsters have gotten powerful enough to justify obnoxious board breaking tools like Droplet, Kaijus, DRNM, Nibiru, etc. . .

But to say there's no back and forth and it's a coward's game is just inflammatory.

Master Duel isn't the place for you. But, if you want something closer to what you remember, I'll say I agree that Edison format is great. There's a lot of support for old, historical formats, and Edison is really huge. 2010 era cardpool and banlist, more variety than GOAT in card choices, but turns are a lot less action dense, which is probably what you miss.

My reason to deinstall this worse game is if im in my main tourn 1 why can be there effectects from the enemy work, hello i set a Card and the enemy spams flip over flips in my turn but i have 300 seconds for my turn, FCK Konamie.

There are Fanboys like in every other game with f2p mechanics, but those idiots will bring down there own game, yeah Master Duel from worldwide 200K players on average about a Week, down to 16K Players on an average Week.

Like I said, this people don't know how to make an actual argument and they honestly can't, the state of the game is indefensible by any honest means and they know it that is why they have to resort to logical fallacies and gaslighting to try to submit the critics with their evil ways but they wont work, truth always triumphs evil.

If it makes you feel better, I gave this guy two rewards. One Superstar, and then a Take My Points after I saw the amount of support he was getting. I have a friend who also gave him a Clever. Fenrir didn’t award anything to himself.

It honestly doesn’t surprise me that a meta player/supporter would stoop to such a low as to insult someone who makes a valid argument against the debilitating state of this card game. It goes to show that not only do the cards being used, the handtraps, utilities, and instant win combos, continue to bring the game further down into obscurity, but it is also the very players who spam those cards, copy decks that give them easier wins, and insult those who are against that way of playing.

This game needs to change, but I’m not saying anything else about it. Peace.

That is indeed the state of the game ATM.
And it is rather unfortunate that it is in such a state.

I don't personally agree with all of your points when taken individually, but I do think that they feed off of each other and put the game into a worse spot due to powercreep.

For example. I do not mind handtraps. But that's mainly because they're the only way for player 2 to stop player 1 from setting up a full board on turn 1.
If they toned down the consistency, card advantage, and other similar silliness that powercreep has enabled, then I wouldn't mind if handtraps went away as well.

Also, I'm of the opinion that if you spend 5 minutes or longer idling or thinking during a match, then losing due to timing out is genuinely a skill or knowledge issue.
