Loaner
Just an idea, event like this, loaner deck player can only find an opponent that is also using loaner deck. That way, whoever is designing the deck at Konami have less stress coming out with not too strong or weak deck to the environment, just decks with similar power/strength level. Players also have higher chance of finding matches that is enjoyable even if losing. In additional, players also get to learn new archetype, playing something different, keeping the game fresh. (ok, latter sentence is just BS)

It's a good thought, honestly. Not fair in the slightest to have loaner decks match up against polished decks. Especially when those loaner decks clearly weren't designed to deal with the kinds of things the polished decks can throw out.

Biggest issue though, Konami would have to be competent enough to make the loaner decks preform comparatively similarly. They historically have not, there has almost always been an objective "best" deck among the loaner picks in every event to date. Like the Psy-Frames on Light side in the current event, or Labrynth in the Fairy/Fiend event before this one.

The Inzektor one is ok but you can't do the good old board clear with Firefly + Hornet

Didn't we have an event like that? Maybe it was a mini event. Either way I am sure it will happen in time. Maybe try filling surveys out when they come.

I mean I was suggesting this since the first xyz event player made decks always outclass them through a better selection of hand traps and board breakers and that's not even going into better extra deck options

If the environment is down to only 3 decks since loaner only vs with loaner, it is a lot easier to balance. They can also not put those staple cards in as well back like the initial event loaner deck.

Please do.

Konami just not willing to have loaner decks that matches the environment. This is to promote players to spend gems to open packs to build a polish deck. However, I just don't see if there is an increase in sale due to this. I believe they know how useful Ash and Maxx (in previous events) will be in the deck but they didn't add in. So having loaner vs loaner only is going to benefit both side.

Loaners are especially bad in this event. This event is basically meta decks without some hand traps. Its a really bad event.

Yeah would be so much better the event, bc FR, these may be the loans I most hated in a main event (not counting the mini events like duel try-out, those i really hated the first one and the reptile/exodia one)

Loaner decks are okay. If you play Solo duels enough you'll notice most of the Loaner deck have very strict win condition. The opponent just need to counter one specific card and it's over for the player. Can't bounce back at all.
