Far as Maxx C goes, I've started ignoring it as a card. Either I can lose to choosing to not play into it and getting OTK'd with no defenders, or I can lose by playing my deck and giving them enough card advantage to make them nauseous. I'll take the option where I actually play my deck. There are better targets I can use my Calleds and Ashs on anyway.
As we all know ranked down aren't really feel good especially if someone has played like hours to rank up. I think anyone that win that much up to those rank literally beating so many "weaker deck", which from their view point that deck is toxic or not fun as well. At the end of the day the winning deck would be " Not fun" deck, from certain player view points.
It is not just meta. Even the anti meta itself would be considered "boring" for some people.
This is why we have Casual, you play Meta in Ranked and in Casual anything else for fun, if you run into some clown playing meta in casual you skip it till you get a normal player.
hence why the only people who want maxx c to stay are ocg pilled, new players who don't understand what it really does or floodgate droolers who aren't effected by maxx c
gold isn't dead lol, and even if meta decks are in plat they pilot them like babies so they aren't even that bad lol, hell even plat has plenty of diversity, sure its got the meta decks but thats kinda how it is lmao
It really wouldn't be a problem if the ladder worked like a ladder. Sadly every rank from rookie through gold has no reason to exist thanks to the inability to derank.
(I mean, c'mon, I'm playing Trains without Infinitrack and Raidraptors from 2016; I should not be anywhere ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ near plat, and yet, here I am, suffering through the same three decks every game)
you used to be able to derank but they stopped it because people were purposly deranking so they could get more gems the next month, honestly its better this way especially in a game as coinflippy as yugioh, sometimes you lose enough to derank an entire division in a row now imagine if you could actually derank
if you mean otk trains its not a horrible deck, definitely works in plat/diamond still, hell a few people even got to master with it
I'm not even saying that dropping out of gold or plat is entirely what I'm asking for. It just sucks that if I really don't care about moving past silver, for instance, I have to just stop playing ladder all together as soon as I hit Gold 1. The ability to move around in those ranks, rather than just exclusively moving up (not necessarily dropping from plat to gold, for example) would actually let players spread out in the other ranks/divs, and give them purpose beyond being the ranks people slam their head into until they make it to plat; since you don't need skill or even a good deck to escape gold, just enough time.
And nah, it's my old list from when Switchyard dropped. Just added Liebe and Pente to brush off the dust a bit. It's still running with Exodius and Malefic Cyber End lmao.
They dont want you to get those extra 500 gems each season. Thats why.
