The Alt Art is whale bait. it exists as an uncraftable limited-time only thing specifically to make you spend money. You want the shiny cosmetics, be prepared to pay out the nose for them. Scummy as it might be, not exactly an uncommon practice in games. And whales get minimal sympathy from me in the first place.

If you need an IP and are F2P, just craft one. The rest of the pack isn't good enough to justify pulling for that many tries, you're better off chasing Kashtera like everyone else is.

I got her in the first 10 pull. It's all luck, but they should let us craft these cards or at least include them in the master pack. It's just an alternative art.

The fact that someone want "alt artwork" already categorized them in whale domain. You just made this game into "Pay to Play" , which isn't really
how most people treat this game. In a certain gacha games, I do something like 300+ pull to even get this specific character by saving several month of in game resources but still didn't get it. 10 pull here is equal to 1000 gems if it was master duel.

It just... umm.. normal ?

It is either you go all out to get that, or just play with original art like everyone else.

Think of a slot machine ( or a pachinko if you want konami product). If you want that alt artwork, you gotta play those machine by inserting coin, one by one till you win. Some people of course get something from it even with just several tries, but the rest will only come back with nothing.

XxBallFartxX, there's literally no downside to pulling for alt art if you already have your main decks, it provides the same amount of UR/SR dust as it would pulling from any other packs.

Correct on both counts, and once their special offer thingy expires in 40-ish days you won't be able to get the IP alt art either. Maybe they return in some future bundle or special offer, perhaps not.

They have to make money somehow, I'd rather they do it through cosmetics like these rather than pay-gating viable decks altogether or starting a subscription service. Nothing stops you from making a normal IP after all, and the card's otherwise the same.
