Fix your f*****g toss coin.
Add rock paper scissors so i can only blame myself if i start the duel as the second player 20 times (yes 20 times) in a row like now because of your coin.

RPS is just a coin toss with extra steps. It's not any less random in practice unless you get 2 or more draws in a row, and the fact that that's possible at all is the main point against it in the first place!

Think of it like this.
You have a 50% chance to win the coin toss. So a 50% chance to go first.
Your opponent has also has a 50% chance to win the coin toss. So your 50% chance to go first now becomes 25%.

Are you talking about if you can't click it in time, then yes your doing 50% twice, my issue is people disconnecting if they don't get heads.

Or you can run a dedicated blind-second deck, and get to go second 100% of the time. :steammocking:

yea i rarely get to go first, the problem is its not a 50% chance because most of the time your opponent gets to call and wins and when you finally get to call you always lose

My coin tosses are 50/50 so no idea why it wont give you one for that long. I can win it 4 times in a raw and then opponent wins it 3 times after and then I win it twice after that.

Either you just have bad luck or your opponent is useing hacks to give him first turn everytime.

Bro, build a going second deck. I used to like second more but had to transition since I kept winning tosses and it was a waste not to learn how to go first. Now I understand both.

Use this power to go second.

Your post makes 0 sense because you speak as if OP is going up against the same opponent every single game.

The odds of losing the coin toss twenty times in a row is 1/1048576. For comparison a player is more likely to draw all 5 exodia cards in their starting hand if they're an Exodia player. Cuz the odds of that are 1/658,008. So you got uber unlucky but it can happen.

RPS would be a pretty bad alternative. It would take longer to get into games and the trade off of not actually accomplishing anything as the side effect anyway since RPS theory is bogus.

You'd have a better time advocating for a pity system to the coin flip. Imagine if you will, you win the coin flip you get your points reset to 0. Lose the coin flip and you get 1 point. If you have higher points than your opponent you just automatically win the coin flip. 20 losses in a row with that system suddenly has a 1 in sextillion chance or something.

Adding a preference system so a coin isn't tossed when one player wants second and the other first would be good.

Or they could just add bo3 already.

Pls explain yourself. More then one player can use hacks in this game.

Now this is just a silly conspiracy theory.

Hacking is easy in this game so why you think that ? I still see people that get auto surrenderd or certain players that mod the game so they have the same starting hand everytime. You need to be blind if you think hacking has not been fixed in this game.

Maybe I'm just extremely lucky and haven't encountered a single one of these hackers myself. All I've ever gotten were those afk bots.
It's an assumed cheating I think. Reached from survivorship bias in a lot of circumstances.

Thought experiment. Every time you see a Ben-kei OTK deck the player has all the cards they need to set up their OTK. Are Ben-kei OTK players just cheating for perfect hands every time? Or is the logical conclusion basically every Ben-kei OTK player just forfeits when they don't draw a good OTK hand? You only have personal experience facing off against the ones who didn't immediately forfeit because those are the only ones that survived to make it that far.
