You have a 50% chance to win the coin toss. So a 50% chance to go first.
Your opponent has also has a 50% chance to win the coin toss. So your 50% chance to go first now becomes 25%.
Either you just have bad luck or your opponent is useing hacks to give him first turn everytime.
Use this power to go second.
RPS would be a pretty bad alternative. It would take longer to get into games and the trade off of not actually accomplishing anything as the side effect anyway since RPS theory is bogus.
You'd have a better time advocating for a pity system to the coin flip. Imagine if you will, you win the coin flip you get your points reset to 0. Lose the coin flip and you get 1 point. If you have higher points than your opponent you just automatically win the coin flip. 20 losses in a row with that system suddenly has a 1 in sextillion chance or something.
Or they could just add bo3 already.
Hacking is easy in this game so why you think that ? I still see people that get auto surrenderd or certain players that mod the game so they have the same starting hand everytime. You need to be blind if you think hacking has not been fixed in this game.
Thought experiment. Every time you see a Ben-kei OTK deck the player has all the cards they need to set up their OTK. Are Ben-kei OTK players just cheating for perfect hands every time? Or is the logical conclusion basically every Ben-kei OTK player just forfeits when they don't draw a good OTK hand? You only have personal experience facing off against the ones who didn't immediately forfeit because those are the only ones that survived to make it that far.
