is summoning your whole side deck really healthy for the game?
it seems like if you arnt the first one to summon your whole side deck you just lose if you dont have a hand full of hand traps, and you are able to set up a board that can deny practically any attempt of you trying.

I swear this game is just summon your whole side, I hate links so much

adapt to what? most games are done in 3 turns, require hand traps and a deck that can special summon and add cards every 2 seconds, then it just turns into a flow chart to pull out your side deck that can pretty much lock the board down

tell me what meta decks arnt that

You've already been offered a huge amount of constructive tips and advice in all the previous threads. Exaggerating things and ignoring the advice isn't going to get you anywhere. Even the most combo-heavy decks like dragon link rarely use more than half their extra deck in one turn
I mean do you want me to play Flower Cardians and just summon both my entire extra and main deck cause I can do that instead :cleanseal:

Yugioh is the only game that lets you do this sort of thing, and has been since 2010 gave us Infernity. Being different than the competition to the point that you don't even have the same target audience anymore is arguably the best way to stay healthy as a franchise, and the fact that they've kept doing it for over a decade is telling.

Didn't you already post this?

pretty sure I asked on advice on how to play the game and what deck to use, not is the way yugioh is going healthy.

is any one going to answer the question? is summoning your whole side deck healthy for the game?

like decks are just engines to pull out generic extra deck cards now, theres hardly ever deck mechanic play, as far as im concerned the extra deck is the main deck and every deck is just setting up a f u board. that takes a lot of the charm of the game away, it also is the reason turns take like 5+ minutes for a guy to end up with like 3-5 monsters on their board after doing a long ass combo, these combos arnt even big brain plays they're repetitive, consistent and happen because its hard to stop them, they can continue their combo after being interrupted and its easy to just start the combo.

if you dont hand trap the guy who goes first and he doesnt brick, its just watching a man do 50 combo turn to bring out a bunch of generic ass monsters that ♥♥♥♥ block you, I wouldnt hate it so much if it didnt take 15 minutes for a 3 round game. I blame links

I'm fine with the whole extra deck being emptied in one turn, for purpose. Like Mayakashi chain climbing up their Synchro monsters. So because I like that, I can accept other special summon spams that fill their boards with negates and pray I have the right board breakers.

spright and runicks are not even decks that vomit the entire side deck, they grind you out with cards that blatantly power creep everything before them

We've pass the mass negate board meta months ago, what is now. What deck hurts you?
There's deck that vomit out their "extra deck" in one go sure, but those are bad decks that have to surrender if they got interrupted, scoop if you don't have hand trap when playing against those player, it's simple. How are people still complaining about this?
You know what's the best way to avoid going against those player? Climb. It's harder to get away with that strategy the higher ranks you go, more hand trap and going second card and whatever.

You are allow to surrender. They are playing a different game, that's not stander for yugioh, just move on.

As a Sylvan and Flower Cardian enjoyer, summoning is half the fun.

old yugioh was pretty much like vanilla hearthstone or magic, there wasnt much to extra deck, if you hate this game so much why play it? i'm personally playing it sporadically when some sort of event hits in, is much more fun without newest even more broken decks.
if you want to break from this game and play actual card game, not solitaire simulator, check out "magic spellslingers", is on steam it does have variety of mill/control decks but aggro decks are strong as well the game is carbon copy of vanilla hearthstone, thank me later.

check out this card for example is like snipe hunter in ygo but costs a lot of mana (summon resource)

No one can help you if your mind is filled with all these exaggerate figures, partial true sentences and strong negative words. This is just behavior of a negative person. If you are not open to ideas and accept this is a different card game from UNO (play 1 card and pass) Monopoly (the card version) Pokemon (Energy) Magic (IDK) Digimon (IDK) Weiss (IDK) or any card games out there, then you are just inside your own comfort circle.

Healthy or not is not up to one person says. Just look at years the game (the actual, not MD) is going to celebrate soon? Not easy to meet that number. Try do just 1 thing for that number of years and you will know. We have new norms happen frequently. In future could we have a extra extra extra deck? Maybe, IDK?

You can't summon monsters from your side deck
