The Battle Replay practice duel in Solo with the "Gagaga" cards
What is this? Why is this considered practice? You have to be lucky to win, there is no strategy that guarantees you the win. Why would you make this an early Solo match? Every time I lose, I change it a little to try and beat it, and the opponent AI draws the perfect cards to counter me.

You are practicing to accept that sometimes you can't win but you have to try anyway.

Yea, but I shouldn't have to play 20 matches to win. I am still trying now.

I'm very aware that my luck in life is cursed, but at a low level thing like this game? It seems a lot worse than I thought.
Are you talking about the Gagaga v Battlin Boxer solo duel?

Yes, though I just finally beat it a few minutes ago. Not sure how since I have been screwed over by the duel since last night.

That one is poorly designed, they basically hindered Gagaga to the extreme just for Battlin Boxer to match them (tbf Battlin Boxer isn't that bad). I believe the easiest way to win that was to make that 1 Utopia monster, can't remember it's name though, as fast as you can

I tried that a few times, but their Xyz cards make that very difficult. I just got lucky and they didn't draw the counter cards to everything I played.

I am having trouble with this Practice duel as well. My search revealed many topics and comments abut it. So yeah, there is obviously a problem with it. If you cant win it you cant progress. Wasted so much time on it so far.

You can win it, it's just RNG based win. Really annoying.

The practice duels and sp challenges are pretty badly designed in general i've found. The decks your given are usually gimmicky and far less consistent than whatever you're facing.

I think the worst ones were that one, the gagaga vs gimmick puppets and the sp challenge of heroes against cyber dragons but honestly most of them are a chore when you are using the premade decks.

The only thing this challenge teaches a new player is:
-the game is luck-based

Not the message you want to send to someone who is looking to get to learn Yugioh.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
