Genuinely surprised about the amount of stuff coming on the anniversary event. Had a scroll through the features and was genuinely impressed.

Spright Starter will be semi-limited on release, but we all know the deck is still going to be cracked as hell. Hopefully Bo1 keeps it more reasonable, as counter-intuitive as that sounds.

I spy with my little eye... Deer Note! And Exosisters! They really are bringing out all their guns.

Not sure how I feel about what looks like the alt arts needing to be pulled (?) rather than being craftable, but whatever.

Overall, I see this as an absolute win.

I rather prefer to craft the alternate arts than pulling them. I already had 3 golden boys

The structure, the upcoming event, and the new game finisher animations for DM/DMG kind of got me interested in making a DM deck, but then again, spright, exosister, and p.u.n.k. therion will also be things that exist...we'll see.

I always thought Dark Magician and Red Eyes vanilla cards should be in legacy pack. Crafting them is a big scam.

Now with this deck I'm having new hopes

This certainly looks interesting, but I'm disappointed that from the looks of it I'll need to wait until tearlaments to get my POTE gem-knight support. Without which they are absolutely useless going first and mediocre going second. Also a bit skeptical about the wording regarding the 1st anniversary packs, it looks like they are moving towards a duel links-esque ticket system? Guaranteed royal rare UR, but it's random and you get limited pulls with no clear explanation of how those tickets will be obtained. Would be great if these start replacing legacy tickets in events or something, but I feel like it's just a way to make sure this stuff is exclusive even to people who are willing to dump gems on it.

Who knows though, with a boomer event coming up and getting basically full power spright, maybe they will finally unban dragoon here. No idea why it's still banned to begin with when we have DPE and baronne turbo decks all over the place

Even Red-Eyes was included, feels good man. They should of started up with this event.

F for those that built Dark Magician decks

Didn't expect the Power Pros icon.
Negate attack looks neat for the grave/banish but will probably be too animated for my taste. Not digging the new duel field. Too samey, I blame the pillars all round.

Pulling for alternate art is pretty lame considering digital game and all.
Could of just been a cosmetic choice toggle.

Navy Dragon Mech - Fireball cannon, fire spouting mufflers but no fire breathing machine dragon boat. Someone messed up. Card art errata now. No way that thing is buoyant.

How is the errata different? Ancient F Dragon seemed like something that would be good on U.A. even if it is once per turn. Essentially I can use Diva to get it and then use the effect to on Hyper Stadium to fetch U.A. stadium and get started.

Hard once per turn and can not search the same thing it destroyed. That's mostly to prevent it abusing something like spyral resort, which could just be activated immediately after during the same turn

Dark Magician/Girl attack effect is like going back to vanilla again. And Ash/Veiler getting its own animation is fine too.
