i run into them so much my god it gets so annoying, to the point that im having to run 2 solemn judgments and 2 curse seal of the forbidden spell traps in my deck and even then with my electric jelly fish negate its still not enough negates to stop runicks.

The idea of Runic, I like. the Execution is frustrating to play against.

0-3 using Pspiral/Paleo, D/D/D, and Endymion. Pspiral and Endymion popped their field turn 2-3 and managed to play through it and deck me. DDD i wound up bricking so I wasn't going to judge them against that.

Question, is it normal for striker runick to use pot of desires? Because I had a mirror against that while playing pure runick and the desires definitely gave me a win. Basically took off 1/3 of the work from my win condition

Runick is the most toxic deck against control players who cant just OTK in 1 turn, but of course all the combo players cry about the floodgates when that deck can easily splash a dumb broken 1 card engine like Swordsoul into it or put Dimension barrier into the deck while control players are still screwed up as before but would be losing all their cards, floodgates and all the pot cards.

They need to limit the fountain to 1, i play Eldlich or Labyrinth and both instantly lose to this deck if you dont draw Lord of the Heavenly Prison and a Solemn Judgment to protect what ever you search with him in the end phase, like Virus or Imperial Iron Wall.

Same for @Ignister who topped another Master Duel tournament recently, telling people to Kaiju or just lose the game, or going back to same Hand Trap meta.

If Konami hit all the floodgates and pot cards there are no excuse for these degenerate deck to exist in their current state in a bo1. You auto lose against Runick when playing Eldlich even when going first.

I don't know, to be honest everyone is playing Mathmech right now and this deck is a real pain in the ass unless you have 3-4 negates in your starting hand, including Ghost Belle and D.D.Crow

How do you people keep talking Pw2 in a game where every card of its rarity is valued the same? Anyone can acquire 55 URs by playing meaning there is nothing P2W about this game.

One of two groups

A) people who abide strictly by the definition of any form of advantage whatsoever, such as that somebody who spends $200 on the game will have more cards than the person who plays the same amount of time and does not spend the money, ignoring the context of the game or whether those extra cards add anything

or B) does not understand the context of the game and chooses to believe that anybody beating them is doing so only because they paid to do it

I hate the design of Runick Fountain because it implies that Runick main strength is what is colloquially known as "save scumming" in a videogame.

Then there is the card itself: Runick Fountain.
What the hell were they thinking?
Not a once per turn and it is a quick effect.

Oh but I cannot use U.A. Hyper stadium twice per turn because that would be TOO BROKEN.

If Runick Fountain activated at the end of turn, even if it left the field, it would be balanced because you would not be able to set floodgates or solemn if you did not draw them first while allowing the Runick player to continue playing the archetype as it was intended.

It just like Verte and Halq, they need this one errata to make them fair.
It is a stupid oversight that just does not matter anyway since the dawn spright is here so Runick is just this annoying deck like D.D. Dynamite.

It is not an oversight, it is intended design to make people buy into this archetype despite knowing it will get inevitably powercrept a couple months later.

Runick alongside Tearlaments are the stupidiest archetypes Konami has added to the game.

They seriously need to absolutely remove both archetypes from the game.

They are cancer
