there seriously needs to be a time limit or limit to how many things you can do per turn, was excited to get back into yugioh but its a far fetch from what it use to be.. vsing xyc decks or any of this new ♥♥♥♥ is a nightmare, how can sitting there for 10-15 minutes watching your opponent seemingly summon like 5 different monsters with 3-4 fusions, a bunch of spells and chains all in one turn be fun?? 90% of the time the game is done that round or next.. lol. such a stupid design

Game is still faster than ye olde YGO. I don't buy the "10-15" minutes nonsense as the average time per turn. over 300 hours ( I have it on Switch as well) and occasionally I might run into someone taking 10+minutes, but it's usually anywhere between 2-5.

Ye olde YGO might have quicker turns (shocker, it was vanilla and had hardly any big combo's and was stupidly simple) but the games on average would take longer. 15 minutes in today's YGO is already consider a long game since it usually only goes for 3-4 turns. And on MD, this is pretty standard once you get to plat and Diamond rank. Shocking, I know. People who actually know the game and their deck play faster.

Anyway, there are a lot of issues with the game today, but as someone that started out with OG YGO and quit while that ♥♥♥♥ just hit GX era and came back in the last year, the game is by far more enjoyable.

I've tried going back to the older games and while they can be fun for a nostalgia trip, I abhor how horrendously slow the games are.
