Virtual World "Coaching"
Hey guys, I'm approaching to this archetype, I've been looking to this deck for so long. At the moment I have this decklist ( https://imgur.com/a/JTOfDHQ ) and I feel it's kinda good. The only problem is that I can't understand the basic combos. I know that you should go for summoning VFD and so on, but really I can't setup a board properly. I read some guides, but still I can't make it or maybe they are not 100% clear.

Is anyone available to "stream and teach" some of his matches or replays?

Many thanks y'all.

Try this video, I actually like this guy's channel because he explains a lot of stuff.

There's also this, that a friend of mine made:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iTejpgoZpIz4tRRVTvE7mNalHzw89SigCTwfF1-0iJY/edit#gid=0

(link might look broken because Steam doesn't like google, can't blame them).

The thing with Virtual World is that they are pretty....freestyle....so to say, there aren't really many "set in stone" combos and you just improvise your way to your result, based on if you get interrupted, what hand combo you start, what your opponent has, etc.

Just try to watch a combo video while doing that combo yourself in solo mode a couple times, and then go from there.

Many thanks, I'll give him a try. Anyway, I figured out that the best way to understand the deck, is playing it! :D

Like CC said it's pretty freestyle, but in terms of the VW line you're aiming to end on a VFD with Shenshen as a material and a Chuche with 2+ VW cards in the banish pile. Try to generate card advantage by synchro climbing with Stardust/Coral Dragon + Crocodragon.

Also remove the ghost ogres for a couple crossouts. They're more valuable in this format.

I thought about removing Scythe and put one copy of Impermanent. What you say? I think that in the actual meta, Ogre, is a good card overall.

Ogre's good overall its just when everyone's running x3 ash, x2-3 maxx, x2 called by by default crossout gains a lot of value. Not to mention you have the adventure engine and it can stop your opponent from going into it turn 2. I'm not too familiar with scythe but you need to go into the link 2 artifact to search it right?

Not really.

Virtual World dumps it to the GY via Beatrice, and retrieves it via Baronne.

If you didn't use Baronne's negate in your turn, that pretty much guarantees that she'll be able to bring Scythe back, and once Scythe activates, you treat it like VFD, opponent tries to negate it with something Crystal Wing can't protect it from? Blow it up, Scythe still resolves.

I think I can place it on the board as a trap and then target it and destroy to special summon, I didn't figure it out yet :D
