I wouldn't mind an event for certain banned cards though. Stuff like Pot and Charity that wouldn't immediately break the game could be fun for events.

I mean, it IS good Ash-bait. And it's not like it's a super-advantage card like Graceful Charity, Painful Choice, or Sixth Sense. Pot of Greed is the least of the banned generic draws at this point, and as a 1-of it just replaces Upstart Goblin. I've seen loads of people not using Upstart lately.
