I can't finish my dailies....
What mastermind had the idea that you need to finish a game to be able to complete the daily quests?

I have to sit through 30 minutes of a combo just to get my (very low and laughable) rewards for the daily quests.

Not only that, declaring an attack on a monster is often not even possible, because everything you play gets negated and removed by the time you could potentially attack.

What a joke this game has become. Terrible game design.

More so issue is, players forfeit immediately before you can declare an attack even if you can prevent a 30 minute combo. That's what makes it impossible usually.

But you are right. Basically whoever goes first spends 30 minutes setting up a wall of negates that are impossible to playthrough. And you're only hope is that you draw maxx C or ash blossom in your starting hand and that they don't draw one of the 2 called by the grave or potentially 3 crossouts they have to counter it.

never have issues finishing my dailies within 2-3 matches and 99,99% of the time 1 quest is to do a solo duel anyways, which takes 2 mins to finish

You certainly did enough to clutter the forums with another whiny post about a non-issue

You'll probably have an easier time doing your dailies outside of the event. In the final 24 hours, most people will be trying to rush into that with their most capable decks.

Ranked mode shouldn't give you too much hassle getting dailies done. On top of that, dailies do stay ready to harvest for the next day. There's no rush in this game thankfully. You can just log in today to get them ready for a day or two later.

Just take your time and know when to pull back. If you're getting frustrated enough to complain about it on the forums, now's a good time to take a break and play something else or do something else with your time.

idk. I find everyone tends to forfeit the moment they think they've lost regardless of event or not, because everyone values their time regardless. Which only really effects a handful of dailies but those dailies are the ones people struggle with the most to do.

I guess there's not much to do then but to appeal to duel etiquette and hope your opponent will await their demise? As long as you try to go for the kill swiftly, you should be able to get it, but I have seen people surrender as soon as one negate/banish goes through.

If you try to draw out your final attack or add extra security when it isn't needed, you will probably see people surrendering far more often as they will feel like they're having their time wasted whilst you combo out.

"Deal 8000 Damage to opponents" and "Declare and attack to a monster X times" are the absolute worst. It can take hours to deal 8K dmg as people instantly surrender all the time if you interrupt their play and attacking into monsters is not that desireable as well because everything kills with monster- or spelleffects nowadays. Best way for me to finish those is with numeron and patience. People still surrender but at least sometimes you get to finish if you play fast. Usually finishes both quests at the same time.

Cringe also just be smarter with it you have a whole ass month to declare attacks on 2 monsters if you don't turn it in you won't get given it again I don't see why everyone doesn't do this it's so simple

It's based on very bad game design. If you lose you almost never get any rewards. That's why everyone surrenders. Why would you watch a 10 minutes cinematic combo if you not even get a reward for wasting your time.
Exvalcore Aug 21, 2022 @ 3:28am
I'm not a fan of the design either, but it's more for reason I don't like logging on every single day which I find extremely toxic that Konami/Devs or anyone who puts dailies into a game is just exploitive & very off-putting to those of us who have other stuff to do in their life than dedicating a entire routine to just picking up quests & completing them "DAILY".

Master duel is a little bit but not by much as you can pick up the quests day but have 3 days to build them up before needing to complete any, but still need to watch that daily video.

The better design would be weekly missions where you pick up everything you need that week for that week, so pick up all 21 missions on Monday have all week to do them or pick up all on Sunday & finish them Sunday, same watch 7 recorded matches.

No actually they forfeit even if you're gonna take just few seconds. I talk for personal experience as someone that avoid anyone taking long for their combo
Daguza Aug 21, 2022 @ 2:01pm
Yea it's hard to reach the battle phase in the modern hellscape of yugioh. So of course completing those missions is a pain in the ass. Battle phase doesn't matter anymore...
