Disk write error after latest patch

Can't play anymore, I keep getting a "disk write error" and the updater just loops endlessly. tried deleting the app data from BOTH my steamapps folder and the konami digital media folder in users/appdata.

I saw one other post about this error with 0 responses, I guess I am just done playing this game? anyone else had this issue and fixed it? I did all the basic problem-solving, rebooting, deleting and re-installing etc etc.

Nop, they lack the technical knowledge to properly build an unity game for what seems.

yeah tell me about it. i used to be able to play this game with no issues but after the latest update i keep getting this unity crash error every time i try to activate a cards optional effect. its crazy, this is a card game but i cant play it anymore even though i have an ok pc that runs need for speed and league of legends.

Nope, sadly that did not work.

Also just for clarity, I completely wiped ALL data for master duels and it still hangs at the very end with a few hundred bytes that fails to write.

Try install Hard Disk Sentinel and check your storage, maybe its not about game, and more like your drive its died. check condition, if its not 100% better to save all your file in other storage

I've started to get this also on my pc. Started after the last update to the game, and only happens in this game.

seems you leave the thread and not see my before post, your drive live its almost end, you should install Hard Disk Sentinel and check the drive condition, it will be not 100%, so copy all your file on that drive to save it, drive soon die.

Reported for spam and phishing, my HDD is fine, so is the other 2 I tried installing to, it's an issue with the game, and Konami doesn't care

Are you sure the drive have 100% condition?
Try download other game to pc. in same drive. i was have some error in other game, and the hdd i was have the condition was in 10%, was same error like yours.

I fixed the issue by the way, not sure what did it but I ended up changing the installation location to a different Drive, installed, then changed it back to the original drive and it worked. I believe that the installer wrote a corrupt bit of data and that was causing the installation process to fail.

Are you sure the drive have 100% condition on Hard Disk Sentinel?

install linux. haven't had a single issue in this game
