Are @Ignister a good/fun deck to build?
I want to try @Ignister but I have some doubts. I feel like the deck plays only a certain way and doesn't mix well with other non cyberse engines and archetypes. Is this true? Also what endboards do they make aside from the ones that take 1 hour long combos? (I don't like comboing too much). Lastly, is it expensive? Maybe there are too many SR/UR extra deck monsters that would only be useful in an @Ignister deck and nowhere else?

Thanks!

Yes, it doesn't mix well with other cyberse but it's a fun deck

And it's a bit expensive if you don't have the cyberse staples

depends on your definition of 'fun', and obviously what's fun for you is obviously not fun for the other guy lol....

I already have 3 Cynet Codec but that's more of a Code talker card? Can the two mix?

For me fun decks offer different ways to play, not just one. For example pure Eldlich is not fun in my opinion but Zombie world Eldlich seems fun because each duel would feel different.

do you like recycling cards and long turns? then @ignister is for YOU

For reference, pure @ignister deck have:
-A way to destroy multiple opponent monsters
-A way to destroy multiple opponent spell/traps
-A way to bring down opponent's monster ATK to 0
-A way to return opponent's monsters to hand
-A way to negate opponent's card effect
-A way to negate opponent's monster attack in Battle Phase
-A way to increase ATK of your @ignister monster & force opponent's monsters to attack it
-A way to summon 6k ATK beatstick that unaffected by other effects

But the catch is, as CDI Mario said:

First deck I built on MD, and I had a ton of fun with it.
I've moved on by now, but still recommend it.

It's Ok, loses to kaijus. Pretty linear deck though so not sure I'd call it fun.

Marincess is a similar sort of deck, but a bit more interesting due to having access to a R4 water toolbox.

@Ignister is a combo deck, through and through, so don't expect a board without a combo. Most boards end with a 6k unaffected beater and a card in GY that banishes as quick effect for a negate.

The deck is competent enough to have real-life tournament results, making it a solid rogue deck.

It doesn't mix well with non-cyberse cards.

You can certainly end on other boards, but they won't be nearly as good.

Why not just playing the strongest combo deck like Swordsoul instead, all combo decks pretty much play the same.

Swordsoul isn't a combo deck, it's more of a midrange deck. Combo decks generally just do the one, same, consistent combo every game.

Just because most people who play the deck lack the imagination to do anything other than Chixiao Baronne pass doesn;t make it a combo deck.
