Fully agreed, its boring without it, add voice chat aswell. How can we go from the anime where duelists talk smack to eachother, play word and mind games, get them emotionaly unwise and such, to this game that is completely devoid of any human contact or personality whatsoever, so characterless, its like the complete opposite of Duel Links which is so much more enjoyable and fun in nature, while you cant talk there either, at the very least the characters there do talk and its great. Not to mention you COMMUNICATE with the other people in the real life version of this card game to announce what youre doing or just striking a conversation, which is exactly what youtubers are constantly doing when going up against eachother like Dzeff vs MBT or Dotoyo vs Rymsty etc. constantly bantering and talking crap to eachother, its good fun and yet this game as a solo players is purely sterile, its eerie almost, like IMAGINE the amount of laughter, screaming, amazement, suprises or emotional reactions we have missed out on so far without a open microphone like dude, seriously... but alas, it wont happen. Its already too late for that to happen i think, and even if it wasnt, it wouldnt happen why? Because well.. if we look at other games, or platforms, youtube, facebook, steamgfits, steam, they all punish you for speaking, then same with games, call of duty, halo, dead by daylight, world of warcraft, every game is trying to punish you and reduce human social interactions as less as possible, to seperate people from eachother as much they can to create safe and inclusive spaces... its downright frightening the direction we as a whole are going to. And everyone who says no to this, doesnt know what they want.

It seems pretty unlikely that some random guy you got matched with is going to know that you want them to add you on steam so you can have a chat.

For folks that don't want to see opponents rage or complain or whatever else, have a way to disable chat. That should be more than enough. For the folks that want to engage with their opponent, chat would be really nice.

It sucks having a great duel with someone and not being able to contact them after.

We've had this discussion many times. Basically the steam community for Master Duel is a little bit fragile. They won't even accept the little messages Duel Links has.

Duel Links uses characters, Master Duel doesn't. Using voice lines that are only ever used to brag or taunt at your opponent isn't gonna be possible in a characterless game

Some people will you don't speak for everyone I for one love when people rage out its great fun and simply having it an option you can turn off there is zero reason to argue against it everyone wins if its added and can be muted they won't add it but still
