Card dismantling is a mess...

Hello. I dont know how everyone is with this but card dismantling is currently a mess. what i mean you easily can dismantle a card by accident that used in some of your other deck, or a cards you just wanna keep for later for other deck build, i know there is a favorite list but it is very limited. (so far ive been using the favlist to drop cards in there i wanna dismantle then go through every single of my decks to check if any of those cards used in any of the deck... but its very fidly especially as your deck list grows)

What i do think would work the best is if we could lock cards we absolutely dont wanna dismantle not even by accident, and if a card is locked and you trying to dismantle it, the game would yell at you about it. (Idk how many of you did play Genshin Impact but this locking worked pretty well there with artifacts so you would not burn important ones into leveling an another.)

Anyway, whats your thought about this?

Additionally, im aware of the Dismantle Extra cards function within the editor, im talking about manual dismantling here.

just dont dismantle it if your planning to use it or you already use it then surely you should be familiar with it and know not to the only way you get this problem is if your playing with cards and dont even know why you have them

Ok but logic would tell me you at least recognize cards you play with the only way you dismantle cards you actively use is if you dont use them and they are just in your deck without you being aware why. Nobody has claimed anything about the game being perfect except you genius

Mistakes happen, game needs QoL changes. Especially in the editor department. Your answer was just don't dismantle, the one above it, THE SYSTEM IS FINE. End of story.

Well still happened two times i did dismantle a card by accident which was in a deck i always use... at least if the game would yell at me "oh wait are you sure? you have this card in one your deck you dummy!" I have a really bad name and photographic memory so these accidents happens. sorting the card by their aquired time isnt helping much either because sometime its putting cards on the top i did aquired months ago, due recently got another extra copy of it which been dismantled by the dismantle extra card option. Yes im trying to be more careful now but still, would be nice if the game would geta QoL change like this, and maybe couple more beside this one.

This isn't a quality of life discussion though its you making a mistake and trying to say it's the game's fault for said mistake. You dismantled a card you didn't want to dismantle on accident, that's 100% on you it's not the game's fault it did that, instead of having the game change just to suite you why not fix yourself instead since it's faster and easier

I feel like it'd be impossible for me to ever make that mistake I regularly dismantle cards I have no plans for and not once have I hit one I use or plan to use, I simply know what cards I'm keeping because they are either good or plan to use sounds like reckless dismantling the game has more pressing concerns than people who are not paying attention to what they are doing

I didn't and dont say it's the game's fault. If its sounded like that, my apology. Yes my mistake was 100% on me not the game, but im not alone with this issue where can get lost within all the cards pretty easily even if they are in an often used deck. I wish konami just had a feature request form somewhere x.x
About fixing it, ive already said in the post how i use the favorite list to not accidentaly dismantle something i have in any of my decks. These accidents wasnt happening recently and i just did brought up an idea. Simple.

Well its just our brain works differently, as mentioned above i can get lost easily and do a mistake every now and then even after double check. Did i learn from it? Yes and paying more attention now, but still im not alone with this problem.

we all make mistakes but when it comes to something like this you should be careful the only way i'd accept any safeguard in place here is if they make it an option I don't have any issues and neither to plenty of other people but what I dont need is something getting in the way of me dusting all the cards I dont want/need, i'd rather time and attention be placed elsewhere on actual problems that effect all of us.

You literally have to MANUALLY "accidentally" dismantle a card you need as the dismantle extra only...wait for it....dismantles extra.

What if you dismantle a prismatic by mistake in the rush? What if you see another card you'd prefer to dismantle instead? I really don't get Yugioh players... Fear of the undo button... Like anybody asks you to do the work. Jeez.

Don't you literally need to go to the option that says "dismantle" to... Dismantle. Like, the ONLY possible way you're doing it "accidentally" is if you're mashing buttons/messing with your own head thinking you don't need the card.

Both scenarios mean it's 100% your fault and based on these scenarios, no amount of Konami holding your hand will fix it.

While I am ripping on you, I'm not against QOL stuff (pretty sure old Yugioh games had a "lock" option"). I just find the odds of this happening more than once ridiculous. This coming from a guy that has basically every card and I dismantle more cards manually than I care to admit.
