And as a last point. Most decks in Master Duel don´t work so good in the TCG anymore and why? Because Konami banned most of that stupid crap for good or at least slowed it down with other cards.
Point is that playing meta or not has nothing do with with creativity. What matters is how you built your deck. Did you copy paste it or did you actually sit down and think about what works? What you want out of the deck? Was it you who made your deck or someone else.
You know, like every staged- I mean “recorded” duel on YouTube?
Fun aspect is an after thought.
So yes, games are about winning.
Anyawy, flip Eternal Soul to Special Summon Dark Magician.
My originally created deck is better, reveal Blue-Eyes White Dragon to summon Blue-Eyes Alternative Dragon.
+ I slightly change it to try and evolve around the meta at times so I can actually get that satisfying feel when I beat the meta user down and spam my entire deck in 1 turn with them unable to do anything
to me it is ACTUALLY for fun, winning or losing doesn't matter to me I just like my Madolche cards,I love them and they are all precious like my irl collection of them and the deck I made is focused around them all, plus playing it for fun means I can enjoy beating something people wouldn't expect me to that much more and won't be necessarily frustrated from losing/seeing the same decks all the time.
and while this is unrelated to your post or question I still like to post that creative decks don't have to necessarily be meta-breaking, we can just use them for fun and while it does get a little irritating at times facing the same decks, it makes it feel that much better when you shut it down hard.
And to answer your question I've seen you on many posts here Gredora and you're only asking this because of the people who constantly complain about meta decks and why it's frustrating/stupid and I see you constantly reply in those, when in reality they just don't have the "creativity" or "patience" to actually enjoy when they manage to play around the meta and make it work or to mess around it with it more through trial and error to actually win.
and thanks for the thought on the points though, you go ahead and have a good one, I've gotta go and do some stuff and get back to grinding ranked with my dolche deck
It can happen, it's just really difficult because if you have no idea what you're doing, you won't succeed.
