Why can't they just make an "old school mode"

But no, they force you to play with people that summon 20 monsters on one turn.

Synchros and Xyz are both over 10 years old. I thought all the boomers that complain about those died out several years ago.

If you want to play that garbage, you could still play them on the "default" mode.

If you don't want to play them you can play GOAT format on Dueling Book.

I agree, there should be game modes with all the cards and other game modes with just some sets.

It would be neat to have such a mode! Like being able to pick a series and being able to play cards up to that one! This would also allow us to see more decks too since each era would have its own meta. ^^
Also more options for players is always a good thing...

Honestly I'd just like to see a Highlander mode, one copy of anything max just so the cliche 3-of staple cards can get wrecked.

I do enjoy playing off meta decks and have several built on here already if you would want to duel me

Currently running a Spyral, Evil Eye, and Dragonmaids deck. I wouldn't mind using the starter or structure decks if you would prefer though. I do want to build some of my old school decks on here eventually but naturally not a priority for gems at the moment.

Although I suppose I could see if I could make an old school deck out of normal and rares.

I do agree with these statement, especially of how different modern YuGiOh is to old YuGiOh.

Totally agree, i'm fed up of these cheated cards, I tried to make Yugi Battle City deck (obvioulsy is very not optimize, i know) and fight against monarch in solo mode, is not worth lol but more challenging

Im 32 years old... That is to young to die out. Most of us are not that old thank you. Was in grade 8 or 7 when the game first came out.
