Gem-Knight campaign ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Just beaten the final duel of the Gem-Knight campaign using the loaner deck. The opponent is given a fully functional Gem-Knight deck capable of churning OTK after OTK without problem, with good staple cards such as Rescue Rabbit and Effect Veiler; on the other hand you're given some sort of retarded Gem-Knight-Constellar hybrid deck that bricks harder than a Monarch-Trickstar hybrid.
I had to repeat the duel like 8 times until the AI somehow bricked to win. The other duels were all Master Diamond OTK combos.
Anyone else feel that last duel was the greatest of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around? Been playing YGO for years, yet these kinds of videogame duels baffle me to no end.

Pft,try playing links evolution.
The entire game is cheating/rigged decks.
I played 700 hours in that game and had so many duels were the AI was bricking. Definitely not rigged.

Those actually make sense because of the story, but I wish you actually had some cards that allow you to win with strategy against the Knightmares, instead of just hoping the opponent bricks.
Any person working on a game who prioritizes story before the actual gameplay needs to be fired.

Disagree. The best part in Master Duel is the Solo mode and the story.
The heck, if you want a good story, go read a book or something. Im not saying games cant have good stories, quite the opposite (i play alot of jrpg): but the best stories wont save bad, flawed gameplay that makes you too frustrated to pay attention to the story, while good story with good gameplay synergize into an incredibly immersive and moving experience.

A few still pictures and lines of text that I could have written better are not going to make the grind with the garbage loan decks any better.

Because Konami can't make a duel UI that rivals a 8 years old, the game regularly handicaps you with a semi-unplayable bricky mess in a vain attempt to makes things balanced, and you've seen the result.

If you're good at Gem-Knight you can win that game somewhat consistently.
This has been Konami's issue since like, the GBA games where they know they can't make an AI for ♥♥♥♥ so instead they impose ridiculous artificial limits on your deck so you spend half the game unable to stock or field anything but basic ass normal 4* monsters while every opponent is given ridiculous custom decks specifically designed to get incredibly powerful boss monsters out within the first turn or two, utterly unbeholden to any of the rules you are.
Is here someone who finished Solo mode on 100%? Which duel is the hardest in all Solo?

Final Gem-Knight duel was the hardest for me, no other duel came close, maybe just the final GladBeasts deck because of the opponent cheesing duels with Drident, but that's about it.

Hmmm ok, i'm already over Gem-Knight duel, but it was between 20-30 tries till i managed to win it.
I beat it pretty easily after a few tries.
You don't need to summon strong monsters on this level, you should use a trap that destroys your opponent's monsters and finish him off with light pokes.

100%. Hardest was Gemknights + Laval. Rest is pretty easy.

Sure you did.The ones that bricked were the ones designed to loose.
Try playing:
-Reverse first duel
-Reverse Keith Joey
-Joey Vallon duel
-Greiger challenge

That is just one of many where the ai will ass pull everything need in the first 1-2 turns.
Greiger will open UA Stadium in 8/10 games.
I have finished link evolution both story and reverse,it is a nightmare of rigged decks and ai opening up the same golden hand many times.
Solo mode is a hard way to see how you can beat strong decks using a weak one when you have a chance but still need some luck since start of the duel.
The problem with the loaner decks is that have few cards where you can counter the opponent after he summon boss monsters.

You want to see real evil? Cheating Exodia with the story deck. Bonus points if you choose to go second and up getting FTK'd.
