Resetting an account
Is there any way I can reset an account? My deck editor is not opening at all now

I don't think you can, only way would be to create a new Steam account and start again.

Restarting the game didn't work?

it was simply a matter of deleting all the games local files uninstalling and reinstalling it fixed the deck editor bug, thanks though

Hey man I'm having this exact same deck editor problem. Not super computer savvy - is deleting local files the same thing as clearing the cache? Tried clearing the cache and it was a no go.

Oh sure, make sure your account is connected to a Konami ID, so you dont lose any progress. Then just right click the game, go to manage, then browse local files, and just highlight all the files in there and delete them, then uninstall the game and reinstall it and you should be good to go

Thank you for contacting [Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL] support.

If you delete your account in YU-GI-OH-Master Duel, you will not be able to create a new YU-GI-OH-Master Duel account with your current platform account (PS4/PS5, XBOX ONE/XBOX SERIES X|S, STEAM, or NINTENDO SWITCH account signed in) and you will not be able to play again.

Therefore, we are unable to respond to your request to "delete my account and start over" or "delete my account and transfer another account".

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we would like to ask you to confirm the above information.

Furthermore, if you have been playing the same YU-GI-OH! Master Duel account on multiple platforms using a KONAMI ID, you will not be able to transfer the account to another platform, if you choose to carry out "Delete Account", you will not be able to play with that account on all platforms.

Even if you re-download the game from the store with the same platform account, you will not be able to proceed from the game title screen and will not be able to play.

This matter will be closed without deletion unless there is a reply to the request for deletion again.

TLDR: If i delete my account i won't be able to play on steam ever.

so basically you can't transfer an PS5 account that has progress to the steam after it already delete the account?

But if i already linked the account to STEAM, does it mean i can't reset my account? >:

I don't see a reason as to why deleting the local files wouldn't help you if you are also having a similar situation, its worth a try anyway
